When it comes to home league matches when managing clubs in England, he has a decent record with 22 wins, 19 draws, and 15 losses [85 points in 56 matches] {just over 1.5 points per match}. However, his record in terms of away league matches is absolutely woeful with just a mere 8 wins, 11 draws, and FORTY LOSSES [35 points in 59 matches] {0.59 points per match}.
Another stat I want to mention is since a win awarded 3 points was introduced, whenever there was a team winning ZERO AWAY MATCHES in the 2nd tier of English football (even in and before the Championship era), that team ended up getting relegated to the 3rd tier.
Plymouth Argyle has just lost their recent Championship home match against Swansea and it's not looking good for the Pilgrims.
