3/6/2022 | How To Keep Your Cast Iron Looking Good & Ready to Go - Mini Seasoning & Tips!

- I had to do a quick mini seasoning on a couple of my cast iron skillets, so I decided to show you how I do this to keep my cast iron ready to go from building up layers of seasoning after using it. Do you do this all the time? I don't as I don't think it's necessary to function as a great cooker. If you display it and want it looking pristine, then you might want to do it more often than me! Anyway, this is what I do occasionally. Thanks for stopping by!
Glad you are back, good advice, thanks.
Thanks for watching! Glad I could be of some help!
Good information. Thanks for sharing !!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video LLS!! I would love to see a video on the pork chops!
I will make one tomorrow as I cook dinner! This recipe is delicious and KETO approved! 👍
Hola Miss LLS and everyone thanks so much for the awesome videos ♥️
Hi back at you Mr FS and you're quite welcome!! 😊
Great video, glad to see you back
Thank you Jeff! Yes, it's been a while! lol
I like doing all sides of the skillets also. Of course, as you know, I do display all my skillets. Mini seasonings are a great practice especially if you don't use them that often. Will help build up a finish without doing it from cooking
Yes, you're absolutely correct. Because we both have more than two, we rotate them often so mini seasoning is even more important for us!
Thank you LLS. I find myself doing this very thing occasionally. I love that deep Black color that comes with usage.
It's been awhile since I've caught any of your videos, hopefully, everything is going well for you and yours.

Thank you Harrison for stopping by! The reason why you haven't caught many of my videos is that these are the first videos I put out this year! The other one explains the reason why. Just dealing with some health challenges, but it is going well thus far.
@@ladylibertystacker2014 I completely understand about the health challenges. Both my wife and I were exposed to the Coronavirus twice. November 2021 was the worst and then, in early December we had the Omicron variant. Not good or pleasant for anyone. My wife and I are in our 70's and, we took every precaution but, the bug snuck in and tagged us.
Take care and, Blessings to you and yours.
Stan
Wow, you did have some bad luck. We're just dealing with some minor issues with hubby and of course getting my numbers back in line with my keto lifestyle and weight loss. I was headed for trouble before I changed things up. Knock on wood, we have been able to avoid CV-19 thus far along with colds & flu! The immunity cocktail seems to work - Vit D3 + Vit C, Zinc Citrate (30 mg) and Quercetin (500 mg) once daily. 😊
