Fix All SSL Certificate Issues in cPanel | cPanel Error in AutoSSL Run

- Installing an SSL certificate on your server is fairly easy but it is most likely that you will get an error in AutoSSL run as a new cPanel user. If you take care about data security that probably you apply security settings like disallowing hidden and system files in cPanel. cPanel based web hostings allow user to install Let's Encrypt free SSL certificate for their domains. Let's Encrypt is a free SSL certificate that secures your website and encrypts all communication between front-end and web server. SSL is very important for every website. If you don't have SSL, web browsers will mark the website as not secure. Free SSL is offered by every web host out there and if you have got your own server, you can install free SSL by Let's Encrypt for your websites with ease. Web hosts provide a mechanism - for its auto-renewal process by default. So for web browsers It makes sense to mark the website without SSL - as not secure - because it's so easy and free to get it.
When you get web hosting, SSL is not installed at it by default. You have to install it. You can do that easily by going to SSL Certificate area from your cPanel. Look for SSL/TLS Status from your cPanel to check SSL status and to run Auto SSL for your websites. During AutoSSL run, you may encounter this issue. You will get an error message like: "An error occurred the last time AutoSSL ran". We are going to answer this error and its solution in our video.

My problem is that everything looks fine in CPanel. All the subdomains say AutoSSL is validated. The run button says "in progress". None of them are expired. However the browsers do not show the padlock by the address bar.
Browsers will not show padlock autyomatically. You have to call your site via https. Now instead of http, use https in the url. Change all urls for all assets from http to https. When site is being viewed via https, then it shows padlock. If you are using wordpress, there are plugins like autossl that can redirect site from http to https and fix mixed content issue. I hope it helped.

I installed new certificate and cpanel says "successfully installed" but when I open website, it still shows me old certificate which is already expires. Can you please give me advice about this issues?
Give it some time. Also use autossl. It will reinstall automatically before expiration. Make sure u call website by using https and every asset path in site should begin with https.

No issue. Just run auto SSL and SSL will be installed again.

hi i faced an issue, my computer browser have SSL, but at my mobile , no SSL
Use url with https or wait for few mins if u just installed ssl. Or enable ssl in mobile browser. So many variables here.

What if the .htaccess file doesn't appear even after showing hidden files
It means you don't have htaccess file for website and your issue is not related to htaccess file in case of SSL.

It means you need to install another ssl certificate or install separately on other domain. Is it Let's Encrypt? Is it multi domain certificate or single domain ssl certificate? SSL certificates have types / categories.
@WebStylePress there's a Let's Encrypt which was auto installed on multiple domains and then it stopped installing on new domain aliases...
when I installed cloudflare ssl on a new domain alias, then the existing lets encrypt ssl on other were deactivated. please advise?

Ok. Lets encrypt is single domain ssl. You need to install it for all domains. If it gives error in installation, rename htaccess file and then install on domain that is not accepting it.

Yes. Exactly. Rename. Install ssl. Rename htaccess back to original name. Sometimes htaccess stops ssl to get installed because of extra security rules.
