I didn't go to this one but I did attend the first two in 1997-1998. Even after all these years, they are still my favorite life memories. I remember seeing Michael Hurst, Renee O'Connor, and Claire Stansfield, all of whom were amazing speakers. I also got Alexandra Tydings' autograph, and complimented her on her little-known appearance in Red Shoe Diaries, which she seemed slightly embarrassed about. I also got to play the then-newly released Xena card game. But my best memory was getting to go onstage to meet Ted Raimi and shaking his hand after helping him and a few others sing the Joxer song!
What great memories. I was part of the first online fanbase too but only got to go to a con in 2016 - it was in Burbank, how fortunate was I to have lived down the road at the time. Worth it in every way imaginable! Favorite memory was moving through the crowds in the hall and passing a table with a water container on it with a sticker that read "Kaltaka". Still gives me a grin.
