Hi, just looking for a bit of advice about the Xtar X4 I just bought. At the end of a charge it will flash and say FULL and then flash 1144mah or 0000mah or 0065mah my current different batteries. What does this mean? Is it an indicator of the batteries health? They should be 3000mah 18650s. Does 0000mah or 0065mah or 1144 mean the batteries are too old and needs disposing of? I'm not sure. Thanks
I fill all 4 slots with 18650 model Lithium Ion batteries and the display only shows 3rd and 4th slots’ info. I press the button but it doesn’t show 1st and 2nd slots info. Why?
Nice charger, but for my aaa batteries isn't 1 amp to much? Won't 1 amp shorten the life of the AAA batteries? I always understood that the slower the charge the better. My eneloop charger charges them less than 1/2 amp. Their should be a selector for the amperage like you mentioned. It is good for lithium ions though. A no go for me on this one, but thanks for the review.
have you tried charging aa at 2 amps, I mostly use aa batteries and bought this if i needed to charge my aa fast when im in a pinch, sadly i couldn't get it to charge at 2 amps even with 1 pc of aa in the charger only at 1 amp,
You can kind of, if you want to switch between 1 or 2 amp. How: Slot 1 and 4 charge with up to 2 amps each, but slots 2 and 3 only up to 1 amp. Furthermore each of the two sides (Slots 1&2 and 3&4) can only charge with 2 amps in total. This gives you some well hidden options: So say, if you want to charge your 18350 or 2170 at 1 amp and not 2 amp, put them in either slot 2 or 3. If you got two of them there are multiple options, either slot 2 and 3 or 1 and 2 at the same time or 2 and 3 at the same time. If you want to charge them fast put them in slots 1 & 4. Hope that's understandable.

The mAh is the power put in to the cell, not a rating of the capacity.

Sounds like you might not have a connection on the slots that are blank

Ya its faster then I would prefer to charge them. Not sure on how much damage it's actually doing

That would be faster then is recommended by most manufacturers. Not a great idea.

Probably the VC4S, it'd got extra modes but you need a qc3 charger for it. X4 is great for AC but doesn't have extra features
