Hey guys! Happy Sunday, today we have some sort of vlog? Polo and I decided to go to Milan for fashion week when we got the invite to the Bvlgari show with their new collection, I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity since I was able to experience my first Fashion Week ever, even if we did not attend any catwalk it was still a huge step for me and of course a week in Milan is always more than welcome 😂🤎 also a massive thank you to Amato Daniele for allowing me to film and show everyone the process of how they make bags, I know this is not the most impressive FW vlog out there but I hope you guys like what I put up, (forgot to say on the video, Polo was able to go to the Bvlgari showroom with me last minute 🤗)

Oh gosh I can’t even explain the anxiety I had the night before 😂 I didn’t even have dinner and I was so close to canceling, IMAGINE THAT, anxiety can be so bad for you in terms of growth, im so glad polo was there to push me to do it, it was definitely not even like 1% as scary as I made it up in my head 😂

I think you did great! I understand that this trip was stressful, new things normally are! And then Polo getting pick pocketed…😳! I give you both a lot of credit for remaining calm! I would have been a total wreck!!! I also loved that Polo is great about going with you on these shopping excursions. And you two perfectly compliment each other’s style!!!! I’m also a very shy person, although I do try to put up a front so people don’t notice. I have major imposter syndrome when I need to give presentations, provide trainings, speaking in meetings, etc. So I really feel what you are feeling. I compensate it by over preparing and also focus on myself, rather than worrying about other things and over thinking. Sometimes it works, and of course sometimes it doesn’t. ❤️❤️ but that’s ok.

🇨🇵 Thank you soooo much for this really nice vlog!!! The Frenchie me would recommend a small black dress because of Mademoiselle Chanel. According to her, every single french woman has to have one in her wardrobe to wear at any occasion. But you're not a dress type so my alternative recommandation would be a tuxedo (=smoking) in black or white. Bec of YSL of course!!! The thing I appreciated the most in this video is you visiting the workshop of Daniele Amato. We hear soooo often about the history and the craftsmanship of Hermès on YT. But a lot of people in the USA, Asia and Australia don't know that there is a lot of houses here in Europe (especially in Italien, Spain, France) which have a long(-er) history, a similar craftsmanship than Hermès, specific designs, own traditions, a great quality BUT more affordable prices!!! These bags look really luxurious and unique. To me, that's real exclusivity!!! I'm so happy that know-how and heritage can be transmitted to the next generation by passionate people!! ❤️👍 I hope that your YT "journey" will bring you back to your roots, to Europe, and that you can show us more of these small houses. It will also much easier for you to get in contact with different luxury brands and meet THE right people for more luxury contents like fashion weeks... We are very positive and quick to respond, we were shocked but it is what it is you know, file police report, cancel cards, let’s move on. He is very calm and it helps my anxious self to level my reaction. I took him to Hermes and other stores and he refused to buy one. He is using one of my card holders until he finds the exact same one he had lol 😂

Hey Lou! Loved your video! But I assumed you were going to 2 runway shows, but these were just presentations, and I felt a little disappointed on your behalf.
You didn’t say anything in your vlog after the Bulgari event- do you feel like the events were worth it to fly all the way there and book a hotel? I know the trip to Italy itself was worth it, but the fashion week events themselves felt a bit anticlimactic.
Also, I was annoyed with the brand that Polo didn’t get to go with you to Bulgari after literally flying all the way there from Mexico!!! You guys shopped for a new outfit for him and everything! I think it was unprofessional of Bulgari to say he couldn’t go at the last minute after you guys flew there and clearly believed he would be able to go.
I thought that the second presentation with the smaller brand seemed much more satisfying, how they gave you a private tour and gifted you a bag and everything! That was very kind of them.
Also, I know in your packing video that you said you hoped to be invited to more events once you were in Milan. I was confused by that and not sure how you expected that to happen…? Were you just referring to the Jacquemus pop up?
Noooo I said a couple of times I was not invited to runways yet, the thing with fashion week is that if you get an invite to something you go, and then email other brands with hope they have space for you, I got invited to bvlgari last minute so I was not able to go to anything else because it was full and honestly I think it was for the best, little by little you get there and I didn’t want to put too much pressure, at the end they did let polo in, I forgot to say on the video that they said it was full a day before but at the door they let him go in. The trip was worth it in my opinion 🤎 I connected with the brand and so many people and we had a great time, like any trip you take.
