Tháp Chàm (5:53:45) was the junction of the 84 km long branch line to Đà Lạt, a hill station built during the French Indochina colonial period. Unique in South East Asia, it featured a rack section to climb the grades from coast line into the hills. The branch was abandonded during the Vietnam War, after much of it was left destroyed. A preseved section of line exists at the Đà Lạt end of the line, where a museum occupies the historic & elegant station building.
