this has been the most informational video i’ve found for myself. i’m clueless on how to put a deck together and this has gave me a fighting chance

It's one thing to copy another deck, it's another to understand what makes it good and then figure out their own spin.
Sprights for instance is like Pizza. There's plenty of ways to go about building it but everyone has their own favorite combination. Whether it be manniquin cat for Anubis or Thunder King, Live/Evil Twins or even Penguin Sprights.
Nice! One tip for someone new to the game would be to buy 3 of the salamangreat structure deck, and yeah, you have to add a few cards to make it really work but is a deck that can get you to diamond 1 for absolutely free. Also Gazelle was just put to three so the deck is basically at full power.
That structure deck opens the door for so many great decks it's not even funny. Code talkers, @ignister, Mathmechs, Salamangreats, Marincess.
Ty for this video, I just got into MD yesterday and omfg Im do overwhelmed lmao. Theres so much to do and learn and while its all really cool, it can be hard to figure out where to start. Im coming back to this video a few times for guidance fosho lol.❤

Thank you recommended for showing me another wholesome Yugi-tuber. One thing I'd like to expand upon is that new players SHOULD finish solo modes, the main reason is you can be given "structure" decks as a reward and they can be a great stepping stone to some really powerful decks without sinking costs such as the Shiranui one, which has a great engine for zombie world in general and can help you dip your toe into things without sinking your gems into it (I learned this the hard way rip 330 SR jewels...)

As someone who recently finished Phantom Knights (I don’t play the adventurer engine or dpe scythe shenanigans), it’s also good to recommend variants of a type of deck and teach players about some other techs you can play instead of the meta (I play Evilswarm Ophion as it locks my opponent out of level 5’s or higher as long as it has xyz mats, easy to summon off a revived Break Sword and P.K. Magic Launch, and can search an archetypal spell/trap protection)

I'm not that much of a MD player as I am a tcg player but it probably applies to it as well. Diversify your interaction, i.e., your interactions should be in your hand, s/t zones and monster zones, of course in most decks their monster zones are the best points of interaction but when you fail to diversify it you start being vulnerable to some board breaking cards, for example dark ruler no more can completly destroy you if you only rely in your monsters.
Tribrigade is a very good example of a deck that diversify its interactions, since the core of the deck is really small you can afford to play a lot of handtraps.
Revolt (the best card on the deck) sets up a s/t interaction that puts a banish + followup for your next turn, making it easier to kill your opponent on the crackback.
Also manage your resorces, sometimes you can sacrifice followup for a showier end board, don't do it 'cause if your opponent breaks that board you'll lose on the spot, so you have to find your deck's balance point.
Learn your deck ratios, you have internet tools to calculate the chances of drawing x cards, so think about the goal of your deck and how to balance, for example VW is a deck that can't afford to play more than 10 handtraps (it gets very bricky if you do), while spright had builds in the tcg that ran 20 handtraps so there isn't a set in stone rule for ratios, each deck and player has different playstyles and preferences.
I completely agree on all of these points, these are all excellent! That first point is why I've been trying out Infernitys lately. Because while hand is out of the question, that searchable Barrier does so much to make up for it. Case in point, went up against Runicks and even if they brought out Imano Awato or whatever, I still had 3 negates for whatever came out (not including the droplet I had set lol)
This music in the background is so familiar i will wrack my brain for weeks trying to remember.
A lot of the music is from animal crossing. I tend to yse animal crossing for more analytical videos as its very chill.
The opening uses the theme from City Folk on the Wii. The rest is music from the museum and vsrious night time/evening music.

How tf do you only have 1400 subs? Get up there! I don't even play the game. Would you be open to do a longer video where you do this in an extended version? I often find myself agreeing to these videoes but when it comes to doing it, i can't seem to start.
I've played YGO for a while but never got into deck building deeply mainly for the vast amount of cards aviable and that sometimes cards that seem broken tend to be duds, even in UR.
I've no idea about that 936 rule, I'll keep it in mind for my next deck, probably Sprights... Unless the leaks turn to be true
There are quite a bit of UR duds yeah "AHEM, DIVINE NEOS AHEM!!!" But if you do your research yyou'll do fine.
And yeah it's a theory that's kinda interesting.
If i see a video of your opinion about the top 5 archetypes that should be a structure deck in Master Duel I can't wait to see it

"Why don't I have a 3rd copy of the UR card?"
I may be returning to YGO but even I know this card game is one of the biggest gacha games around and it shows.
Can someone please help me out with one question… should I fill my main deck up to the max of 60 cards or is it better to leave it at around 40 so that my odds of drawing the right cards is better?
I've just started playing master duel 2 days ago, I've decided to build a blue eyes/dark magician deck, is that type of deck recommend for a new player?
@jimmychonkers8884 uhhhhhhh...not particularly but it'll get you through the early game. Blue Eyes will serve you better than dark magician
Bro i haven't played the card game in years and saw this online version yesterday and downloaded it. Never in my life have I saw a turn last 7 minutes and win during that turn. Now I'm tryna get better at this online ver lol
By 9 starters does this refer to searchers and combo extenders or only combo starters?

Even if I have 3+ copies, I always bring it max. 2. I only add 2 Maxx "C" in my decks, and every "C" resolve, I can't count how many times I draw "C" after using "C" and opponent's just pass.
First time I play master duel, I build junk deck pretty bad deck that not consistent, then I do some testing using another card combo like using tool dragon to search some equip card or junk synchro with trishulla dragon, until I fix my deck with summoning 4 lv12 dragon synchro, but then there update that make turn time become 300s, I stop using that deck and just spamming numeron but after flowandereze become a meta mainly I using utopia, marincess, and dryton with herald ultimate. But for me I more like to play utopia cause I have diablosis mind hacker, so if my enemy using pot of extravagant they gonna be really fuck up and using quick play spell xyz to make enemy card become material for mind hacker

My advice is learn when to use your hand traps. Maxx C is pretty useless if your dealing with Floowandereeze and Ash Blossom the first card you see would be a waste and may cost you the game

Some moreso than others. For instance Numerons are ALWAYS a going 2nd deck

Just got back into yugioh after not being into it since the GX era. I freaking hate it now. Too much pros in this game. With the infinite number of cards people can summon leaves me quitting
