I can remember when
I caught up with a past time intimate friend
She said, "Bet you're probably gonna say I look lovely
But you probably don't think nothin' of me"
She was right, though, I can't lie
She's just one of those corners in my mind
And I just put her right back with the rest
That's the way it goes, I guess
Baby, you send me
Baby, you send me
Set adrift on memory bliss of you
Baby, you send me
Baby, you send me
Set adrift on memory bliss of you
Careless whisper from a careless man
A neutron dance for a neutron fan
Marionette strings are dangerous things
I thought of all the trouble they bring
An eye for an eye, a spy for a spy
Rubber bands expand in a frustrating sigh
Tell me that she's not dreaming
She's got an ace in the hole
It doesn't have meaning
Reality used to be a friend of mine
'Cause complete control, I don't take too kind
Christina Applegate, you gotta put me on
Guess who's piece of the cake with Jack gone?
She broke her wishbone and wished for a sign
I told her whispers in my heart were fine
What did she think she could do?
I feel for her, I really do
And I stared at the ring finger on her hand
I wanted her to be a big P.M. Dawn fan
But I had to put her right back with the rest
That's the way it goes, I guess
Chorus
👍 word 4 word EXACTLY like i remember it... Send a drift of memory bliss...

2019 Still bumping. This was key for me back in the days. This guy produced and wrote all his tracks. Legend is the word.
I love how chilled this song is. So many good songs that I forgot about, but can re-discover them again thanks to UA-cam. Thank you Universe for UA-cam, and the content posters. :)

I don’t care what no one says this song the song they sampled and Lloyd joint always bring me to Great Memories of my Lifetime mostly Best Moments
When I was 11 I dedicated this song to my Love Michelle. She broke my heart several times because I couldn’t compete with the older cool guys. I would sit and listen to this song on my Sony Walkman till the batteries ran out. Fast forward 30 years later she lives with a guy and has 4 kids and is struggling to survive in Los Angeles . I’m not a rich man but I married a beautiful woman and have 2 boys and own two homes and have 2 businesses . Life is trip 😔
😂 I’m happy you won.
Amazing🎉
“I wanted her to be a big PM Dawn fan”
Pretty sure she still is.
Nostalgic songs such as this that are kept on repeat on the radio would make this world a better place.
The beat itself is sensual pleasure
On the train listening to this and the sky is purple and light blue 🌹
Top tier!!!!
This makes me cry! I wish I could freeze time every ones getting old all the legends
Sitting here crying too...it’s nostalgia and longing for when I was younger and I had many years ahead....

This takes me back to 12 years old. I didn't just love music, I consumed it. This was on heavy rotation on my 5 disc cd changer lol 😆 I love "I die without you"by PM Dawn as well.
I'm listening to a bunch of 90s music today for some reason. Love this song. The memories.
This song is a masterpiece I swear. Best remake ever. If I heard someone remake my song like this, I would be so proud. Solid track.
Totally amazing how one song brings so many memories. 90s was an amazing decade✌️

Oh man... still one of my all-time best favorite songs. Just sooooo AWESOME!

This never gets old. Rest in peace. Thank you for the music & memories.
we don't search for old tunes.
we search for the memories entailed in them.

It was 1991, I was 11 years old and don't remember hearing this song until many years later. Now 41yrs old, listening to this transports me back to 1991 when I was in the 5th grade and life was so simple. But I didn't even know it. 😕
I remember this song when I was in the military stationed in Germany. There's lots of memories associated with this song and other songs of the Era. RIP Prince Be and thanks for the memories

Alas, my generation has sadly lost another "Prince". R.I.P
Cleveland Smith was that the fat one?
