Sad fact : Obanai was hugging mitsuri so hard and refused to let go so when they died and the fight agents muzan was over they were meant to be buried but since they were hugging each other so tightly they couldn’t separate them and thus was buried together

My question is HOW DO THE DEMON SLAYERS NOT RECOGNIZE THE HASHIRA??
My guess is either this is part of the au, or because lots of demon slayers that have lower ranks don't get the chance to meet Hashira's like Tanjiro before.

Yes this last person is right. When Genya was anxious to kill Um4 before Tanjiro it was because he wanted to meet Sanemi again. You can only meet the Hashira if you are a Tsuguko, work at the Butterfly Mansion, or are called by Master Ubayashiki (I think that’s the only way, there could be more, if anyone knows of more correct me please).
@@Kiiro-kun. they could have met Shinobu (and maybe some other Hashira) if they were brought to the butterfly mansion because of an injury. Also if they went to the swordsmiths village they could’ve seen a Hashira or two
