Kittley's offensive strategy is awful. Zero experience on the strategy side of things. Starts playing conservative at the end of the third quarter and at that point I knew we were going to lose. To cap it off, they put the freshman QB in harms way with a bone-headed call at the end when we have a very strong RB. It's just embarrassing to watch this hot garbage.
Agreed, Kittle took his foot off the gas when we hit 31 points. By doing that, the offensive wasn't on the field long enough to give the defense a rest. This loss is on McGuires shoulders but it was Kittles poor decision making that cost us that game. Same as Baylor!
Why can’t you just answer the question of why y’all called that plate with Will Hammond to run the ball? We’re not mad at Will. We played a great game and we understand. He’s a freshman. The coaching put him in that position to fail. I’m still a believer in you, Coach McGuire, but we gotta get better.

Why is your secondary so bad? Bad coaching or talent or both?” “Coach, Kittley is super inconsistent and makes really hard to understand decisions. Why do you keep him around?” These are the questions they should be asking. McGuire keeps saying they played a great game except for a few plays here and there…yeah that’s sports. It usually comes down to a few plays. Just because you got curb-stomped by Baylor last week, doesn’t mean you coached well this week. You lost. Your coaching collapsed in the 4th qtr. Do all the fans a favor and walk away like Tubberville did.
The fumble sealed the loss and it's easy to point fingers! The real problem is that they had to score 2 touchdowns to win there at the end and we allowed that, that's where the loss came from. I get the fans wanting the ball in #28's hands on that fumble play but honestly TCU is probably expecting that too so not giving it to him makes some sense. Giving up those 2 TD'S in that time frame was key here! TCU is a desperate team and those are the teams to watch out for. This and last week's loss are really hard to stomach no doubt about it but it's part of playing the game. I would say it's OK to be frustrated or pissed or both but to be calling for the firing of coaches is not a good image for the program... Both Baylor and TCU are desperate teams this year and they're playing like it. It's OK to be mad but be reasonable at the same time! That true freshman QB is a bright spot IMHO. Gunz Up!
I think people would agree with your statement about not calling for coaches jobs if this was 3 years ago and the first time you'd seen that kind of pathetic play calling. But this is going on 3 full years with kittley calling terrible plays. I can't think of 5 just off the top of my head from yesterday.. Not to mention every other game he does it in and it's masked by how great tahj is. Kittley is no longer the answer. I still believe whole heartedly in McGuire and I think DeRuter has an extremely young defense. But kittley deserves to have his job in question because we've been seeing the same thing now for 3 years from him

Year 1 - 8 wins , Year 2 - 7 wins, Year 3 - ???? 5 or 6.

When Macho ‘I wanna be Travis Hunter’ Stevenson touches the field, OCs target him EVERY PLAY. Go back and watch the game sealing TD he gave up. TCUs QB eyes went to Macho before he even snapped the ball. I knew what that meant. Then we witness Macho play the worst CB defense I have seen since Justis Nelson… Nelson didn’t deserve that stray because he’s a great person but man, Macho stinks… Go look at every big play given up yesterday and tell me who the nearest defender was… He is a cancer to our defense… Why is he pressing when he gets burned so frequently 😭
Also… Taking the FG on that last scoring drive instead of going for it on 4th down was a terrible decision. It didn’t change anything in the sense that it was going to be a two possession game. You should’ve went for it in 4th and 2. If you didn’t get it, oh well, you’re up by two possessions… instead we took a FG and were still up by two possessions. Coach, if you need someone on the sideline to break down these scenarios, my Saturdays are open! I’d do it for free
It changed the nature of the two possession lead. Instead of being a TD and a FG lead, TCU would be required to score two TDs after we made field goal.

I still believe the real problem is offense. When your D is on the field too long because the O play calling is so crap, bad things are bound to happen, especially with such a young defense. Why are our good defensive players getting better NIL deals at other schools and leaving? Good recruiting only matters if you can keep your quality players!

Those stats could be misleading… and they aren’t necessarily true… our offense isn’t even top 3 in scoring when we just count conference games… offense was MIA for the entire 1st qtr yesterday. Defense helped them come back with the turnovers… got a turnover at the 3 yard line and the offense couldn’t even score… had to rely on special teams… We could literally blame one player for the defensive struggles yesterday.. go look at who gave up those big plays. Every single one of them was given up by the same guy!
