You seem not happy staying in Malaysia.
I was really disappointed to hear you talk about the negative comments that some narcissistic conceited s***heads put up. Most of these people are so tied up in themselves that they fail to see the beauty and wonder around them or what honest people like Michael and you are doing. It's hard to ignore them, especially when the comments are personal but what you are doing with this vlog is great and we are throughly enjoying every moment.
Hello Josie, you and Michael have done phenomenal this year. There will always be haters in this world and they will never change. Whatever you focus on grows, keep your eyes on the good. Share value and your wisdom to your viewers. You've got this!

Josie a tip for busy lifts. Go up first and stay in the lift as it reaches the top. Stay inside as it goes down. This is common in busy Asian cities. If the lifts are skipping your floor on the way down it means it's at capacity.

I didn't know about that 100 plus brouhaha! Sorry you had to go through that, and it's good you realise the malice, if intended, is all online. It's a good mindset even for future controversies (hope not, though, haha!). I love this channel, you've accompanied me through many sessions of experimental baking and cooking lol! It's engaging and entertaining without the need to sitting down to pay attention, since like you mentioned, it's like having a casual chat with a friend. I think this second channel is also a smart way to keep your love of making content alive without the hassle of red tapes and all that algorithm messiness, which will understandably lead to quicker burning out. Don't be too hard on yourself, yea? It's good to take a breather once in a while and just enjoy things as it is, and I'm glad Malaysia is that place for you. About the abuse comment thing it's normal for content creators to have abusing comments on their channels. The thing is you just have to ignored it as best as you can, if you can block them just block them. It's internet haters is everywhere.
I used to worked for content creators to check their comments section and replying the positive comments and ignored the haters comments. The guy i used to work for had 40K subscribers and the negatives comments is unbelievable, at first i was mad at abusive and negative comments but the guy i worked for told me just ignored and blocked them if you can.

The food trucks should keep the prices low to attract more customers.
You shouldn't compare foods truck prices with warung price's. The cost nowadays very expensive in many businesses and industry. Not only you want to stay in comfort life...they work for it they deserve for higher price compare warung even the street foods bcoz of the cost...but still much cheaper compared to resorts and hotels.😅...Many malays restaurant not really recommended by tourist and especially the local Chinese..for them its expensive but actually it's reasonable price... the Malay foods provider place's you go..the Chinese don't go

as far as I remember in Malaysia you can wear anything.. there are only a few places that prohibit wearing sexy clothes and it is prohibited when visiting places of worship and government offices .. in Malaysia fasting,forbidden to drinking alcohol, gambling, eating pork only applies to Muslim citizens.. in Malaysia it is forbidden to express, criticize and question or touch the topic of the 3R issue and it applies to all Malaysian citizens as well as foreigners who are in Malaysia..the 3R topic is Royal, Race and Religion.. This law is to protect and maintain the harmony of various races and religions in Malaysia this is from what my mom’s told me because she is malaysian..😁😁

Your comment (as well as Michael's) about being respectful of the norms of the country you visit - especially with regard to dressing - is spot on. That said, I must add that in Malaysia, strict dressing requirements apply only when you visit religious premises and government offices. In general, just abide by normal sensibilities on decency. Do note, however, that some states in Peninsular Malaysia (Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis and Kedah) are more conservative, and a cautious approach to dressing is advocated when visiting those places.
Btw, love your vlog style: informal, unscripted, and spontaneous...very real.
Yeah I’m not saying Malaysia imposes dress codes, they don’t, it’s very cool of them and a reason I like it here. But I do think if you’re coming to a country with such a large religious presence you’d be a decent human and respect it, even if you aren’t told to. You know what I mean? Hahaha

Always receive positive comments and ignore negative comments, this world is fully of good and bad people,
I think there’s a difference between negative comments and abuse - and my point is that this platform is allowing these comments to be said to me, but giving me a bullying warning when I reply, basically saying what they have said to me, it’s unjust and hypocritical by the platform to basically say I can be abused but I can’t say anything back. If my comment is bullying, then what they said is bullying but it’s allowed. But yeah, it just sucks haha.

4:50 i feel u, i've got that warning as well, and decided not to comment anything on that platform regarding "aggressiveness", unfortunately it's no longer from the user's report, but instead it's AI system that detects it, a lot of people got booted off especially from twitter (X) and suspended for idk what reason, i believe youtube will also implement it, AI Security will be use a lot in the future, considering, Microsoft is using Bing AI, and Google have Bard AI.

Sad to hear about the negative unpleasant comments you have received. Unfortunately some people regard social media as an open licence to anonymously hurl as much unnecessary and hurtful abuse as they want. It never makes pleasant reading and achieves nothing. It also reflects way more on the writer than the target of the abuse.
The not wearing revealing attire thing is a nice to have, but it's not expected of people, other than places of worship and government buildings. But I'm glad and happy that you would take the time to be mindful to Malaysian and especially Muslim sensibilities.
The things that is no go for me and most Malaysian regarding tourists, is tourist panhandling(you're obliged to accept gifts and kindness from Malaysians but begging for money on the streets to fund your backpacking journey, while a lot of people do struggle to survive out here. It's in poor taste especially when you have people who actually need donations basically a street over),
disgusting and filthy behavior(while some Malaysian do so as well, it's even worst coming from a guest),
thinking your entitled to do and act how you very well please just because you have money to burn and that you'll be leaving the country in a couple of days.
Lastly, is virtue signaling issues that are present in Malaysia, which will more likely than not exacerbate the situation and make it harder for people who actually live in Malaysia and are facing these issues. Example when The 1975 band came to Malaysia
