Thanks for uploading this fascinating video loaded with information regarding this unknown tourist spot. What I love about your videos are how informative they are and how both of you are so respectful of the locals, culture and surroundings. I also appreciate the presentation when showcasing the food and places you visit. Ironically, I came across this channel from a comment you left on another UA-camr's channel, that's when I decided to check your channel out. You've come along way since then and of course the quality of the content has improved greatly.

@@BucketListTravellers Thank you for making a video about boaco. I sent the video to my family in boaco and my parents. They loved it. Boaco has always been a place I love to visit. I have been visiting since I was 6 years old. I have noticed in the last couple of years slowly boaco has gotten recognition. And there are other other hotels/motels in boaco. And yes there is alot that you haven't discovered in boaco lol.

Thank you so much for this video i was raised in Boaco and left in 2006 and the last time i went back was in 2009. It brought tears of happiness but also sad that i havent been able to go back. I invite everyone to visit , the food is amazing , the climate is great, and a lot of partying. Thank you once again..
Hi Ms Luquez, you are most welcome. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the video and that it brought back fond memories. Boaco was a really unique city and we were really happy that we experienced it!
Excellent walking tour! I was just taken to school (no lunchbox necessary) 🤣😂 I seriously had no idea Boaco would look like that! 😲 The town itself looks very nice... it has that Nicaraguan feel, but it's not like the main cities... The hotel and that café looked GREAT! 😍😍😍 Thanks for taking us along to discover Boaco ✌🏻🤠
😂😂. You're right, it definitely has a Nicaraguan feel, but a bit more low key than the main cities. The hilly setting makes it quite unique and pretty too. Kohona cafe was a complete surprise and joy! We forgot to mention that we found some great fritangas as well, as you would expect! Thanks for coming along Edward!
Thank you for showing Boaco, I have never been there before. Quite hilly city, good for leg muscles!. Your walking tour gave me an excellent idea of what this city has to offer!. Muchas gracias BLT 👍👍
You're welcome Henry. We certainly got a hamstring and glute workout in this city, not to mention lungs too! It is certainly worth a stopover when exploring the far side of Lake Nicaragua.
How cool, I can see my family's home in front of El Cerrito. I remember in the mid 90s when they first opened up the tower on that hill climbing up there to play. I haven't visited in about 6 or 7 years so this video is great to see how the town looks now.
Hey Heylicken! That makes us really happy to hear that you've enjoyed this video and that it has special meaning to you. Where are you living now? We hope you can visit again sometime soon!
It certainly was, not a gringo in sight as well, which we always love when travelling! So glad to hear that we've been able to share new places with you both, thanks for watching Ste & Rach! -Jon
Thanks Lucy! We visited during the wet season, so it was quite pleasant after the storms rolled through. It wasn't as hot as other areas in Nicaragua as it is up in the hills. It was still quite humid, and you will build up a sweat walking up and down the hills.
Boaco truly looks like a hidden gem! Chicken & SIM cards everywhere 😂! Love the view from your hotel too, as well as the churches. We always enjoy your walking tours we appreciate all the research and information you provide. Great video guys! ~Cara 😊

@@BucketListTravellers Did you miss Santa Lucía. 10 Km, (about 6 miles), on a hidden trail north of Boaco. My favorite town in Nicaragua. Best of luck with your travelling.
It's really wonderful that you visited Boaco and decided to post this video talking about the town and touching a bit about its history too. Even to some Nicaraguans this place is sadly unknown. Hope you can revisit in July next year during the "fiestas patronales" so you can mingle more with the locals including the "bailantes" that present a show of Moros and Cristianos (infront of the central park) that is unique to the culture in Boaco. I already shared the clip on my fb page to friends and family. I enjoyed your walk through even more as I no longer live there 🤗💗 but seeing it brings some fond memories of my childhood. Thanks for the wonderful video and presentation. Best to you on your next adventure together.
Hi push master and gaming, thanks for watching and leaving such touching comments, we really appreciate it. We are glad that we could bring back fond childhood memories for you. We just missed out on the fiestas patronales for Boaco and that was a shame. What we loved so much about Nicaragua was how strong the culture was and that every town had its own unique traditions.
Hi Aiman, we are not sure of a tourist invitation / program in Nicaragua. Do you require an invitation to leave your country? There is a 3 months visa that you will receive once you enter Nicaragua and you can also use it to enter Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. So if you can reach Nicaragua then you won't have any issues entering it.
@@aimanalmatari4358 I'm sorry to hear that. Which country do come from? You could contact the Nicaragua migration department online and see whether they can offer you an invitation.
