KG is the 🐐. I didnt know anything about the hbcu dance teams...randomly saw a vid of her dancing in stands couple years back and knew she would be the cap. Drove to Jackson just to see her in person and she is super beautiful 😍
Same here! I literally just learned about it this yr.. and J settes has been my favorite every since.. my 8yr old daughter watches me and now wants to go to PV just to be a black fox.
KG and Janae to me both are number 1 for captain this season. Both of them held captain with class and respect through all of the adversity the bucking demons through there way lol But the both of them showed out this season
I also think Shunti from GG's did well too. Just my opinion! You're right though because NOBODY was messing with them captains!!! To make it sweeter lets also commend their squads for backing them up! Great season in the SWAC!

This captain is going to be really tough to follow. Although I was not feeling all of the field shows and they were specifically for HER energy, in the stands she had the ladies moving!
For me personally, KG was the most creative and best captain since Charlotte... now there has been some good ones in between especially Mother Dom, but there’s something special about KG 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Candy R with the white bodysuit and the Mo Bamba with the tiger print are the bomb!!! All counts matched the music, stopped dancing when the music stopped, the outfits highlighted those counts so well!! All were great but those 2 just stand out to me!!

One thing about the Jsettes, is when they're in the stands, how they pass off the counts, one group of girls to the next group, picking up the counts, is visually pleasing to the eyes. How the formation, or whatever you call it, moves from KG, to the next 3, then the next 8, then the last 3. Very organized. I remember watching a HBCU, on the East Coast, the girls in the stands, were all over the place. It wasn't cohesive. They need to take notes from the Settes, on proper way to move the counts, orderly, from the perspective of someone watching.
KG and the legacy she left….can’t be denied! A gifted captain that brought back the “original” jsette marching and dance style….. pushing the team to the next level.

i dont think people realize how this young just changed jsette culture for the future...anybody and i mean anybody who comes behind her will have to search the Gods for answers..she is changed how people look at the jsettes and made them the most hated danceline in the swac.
