WOW ! How delicious ! My mother also cooks chicken for our cats, but very naturally. She doesn't add sugar ,salt, soy source, instead she adds thyme (prevent inflammation ) , fennel seeds and to add flavor dried fish flakes (cats love them). She puts these ingredients in the tied bag and thrown a way after cooking. Add more pumpkin or carrots to the water (good for vision). They are also adopted street cats. They were soon castrated vaccinated, medicated and have been with us for around five years. Since them, they are not had any illnesses, they are always healthy, playful and so on...❤

@Vikki86 is right. Sugar, salt and other condiments that are consumed by humans should not be given to cats and dogs as their bodies cannot metabolise such condiments. Somnang, please consult the vet at Sunny Animal Hospital before preparing food for your rescues

Aqui en España, los veterinarios han visto que el azucar y el dulce en general es malo para los gatos pq no lo metabolizan. Lo mas sano seria que lo cocieras con agua y las verduritas, sin condimentar. Ademas les encanta igual. I boil chicken for my dogs and cats with minimal amt of salt. Dark meat for the dogs and white meat for cats. Cats love the soup as well!

Sugar???? My cats get only food where no sugar is added. They don’t need it for their taste. It could cause diabetes and I think it is also often a reason for tumors. Salt also doesn’t make any sense. Please don’t add it anymore. Add taurin.

I also occasionally boil fresh chicken or turkey breast in water with a pinch of granulated chicken broth, but no salt, sugar or soy sauce, but with rice. 😋 They only get it if they suffer from diarrhea and vomiting, and only after 24 hours of fasting. So the cats are hungry. My cats are spoiled and very peculiar, preferring canned food or dry food. 😏🙈 Thank you for sharing your showcooking. It looks like yummy.😋😘👍❤

I cook chicken for my cats too. But cook plain and use the leftover broth to moisten it. I heat up the broth add to chicken that I store in refrigerator to make it a little warm for them. They love it. Thanks for all you do.
