The first Survival elves version back in 2020 that Robert Cuellari put together had 2 Deranged Hermit and 2 Rebels that searches for Elves, and he didin't play Tangle Wire either. Skyshroud poacher is the rebel, it's not bad with haste as well cause you pay 3 and you put whatever elve in play, usually what you do first is putting a Quirion Ranger so you untap it and use it again.
That's spicy as hell! And funny that you should mention that, cause I played an event in Argentina last week and one player was jamming GW Rebels, and he end step activated Lin-Sivvi to go find Poacher, untapped and tutored a Hermit with Poacher. It was hilarious and awesome.
@@fpawluszmtg poacher + quirion/symbiote is very broken with a cradle out. it also functions as additional pseudo survival. if you don't draw a survival or an acolyte+wirewood, then poacher is a one card combo. just give it a shot! you also can be very degenerate getting acolytes with it too.
All of this sounds much more fun than good, but it could be worth doing solely for content alone, haha. The only part that sounds legitimately exciting is to fetch a Poacher off Survi as it's getting destroyed.@@mistercakes
I am not assuming I'm drawing Survival every game, I am saying that that's where Poacher would be at its best. Spending 4 mana for a 2/2 is not what I want to be doing, so for Poacher to be actively good you'd need access to 7 mana and Anger in the yard (meaning you already have Survival in play). I'd much rather have access to cards that do other things instead, that's all.@@mistercakes
Great stream! Yeah stick with playing Elves when you can. You’ll know you’ve got some real reps in when you start doing ridiculous things with Kamal, Gaea’s Cradle and Quirion Ranger! Such Fun!
Great video! What do you think about Wall of Blossoms vs Wall of Roots in the side? I always have some doubts about. What I noticed is: I side in Walls in matchups where sometimes is difficult to make a board (mainly Sligh, Goblins, and black decks with potential Plague Spitters). In those matchups Priest is not always that good because of not having a board: Wall of Roots granted me the mana I needed to play earlier useful cards like Masticore, or simply helping me to reach 6 mana to do Spike Feeder + Genesis against Sligh. But, drawing a card with Blossoms has been always great, and I had good time with it, of course. But I can't choose!
I have been really, really liking wall of Blossoms. Roots is particularly good in Natural Order builds cause it naturally build the curve of t2 wall t3 NO, which can be really strong, but if I'm not playing NO I like Blossoms a lot better
Only whenever I feel like it, which honestly isn't often these days... Did a video about a month ago, and I haven't felt the need to go at it again, but who knows?!
Yeah, I still love the Amulet deck with a passion, it's the way WotC has been handling the Modern format that I am frustrated with and why I decided to give up on it.@@diogosilva4857
se me agotan tus videos de premodern tronco jaja.
muchas gracias por tu contenido
Mirá que hay bastantes, eh! Lo lindo de Premodern es que podés ver un video que hice hace un año y hay muchas cosas que se pueden rescatar y aprender.

hard disagree! you're assuming you are drawing a survival every game. i've put up some good results with poacher.

The deck is extremely fun, definitely amongst the most fun decks in the format for me. So yeah, I'll definitely be sticking with it!!!
Game 1 was wild
Premodern has the habit of delivering spectacular gameplay, over and over again. It's almost like a curse!
That Pox opponent needs some Spinning Darkness in their life!!! LoL
I love Spinning Darkness so much! Super underplayed card!

Any time!@@federicorocchi9672
You back!!
Hahaha yeah, I am still on vacation, but managed to make some time to record some matches!
25:42 16 cards in sb? When appears the 2nd tormod lol
Apparently I missclicked somewhere and an extra copy of Crypt was added to the board xD Fortunately it wasn't relevant in the match.
Hey man , you never play modern titan again?
