Great job. Going great, getting better!
He is allergic to latex, are we supposed to use gloves on him or what else can be used please?
Most gloves in UK are latex free.
You can as well confirm from your accessor if they're latex free.
Hello violet thanks for your videos.
I have a question to ask and I really hope you get to see this and reply, if you can send me your email address too I can send a private mail.
My question is for blood glucose;
If you ask a patient have you eaten today and patient says NO where do you document pre or post prandal?
P.S-this is a community scenerio, the GP has asked the nurse to go and take the BG of the patient in her home, assessor has said all pre-checks has been done.
If you ask a patient have you eaten today and patient says yes 1hour ago where do you document reading pre or post prandial?
If you ask a patient have you eaten today and patient says yes 2hours ago where do you document pre or post prandial?
I really pray you answer me because this BG has been a big challenge in OSCE for me 🙏
If patient said he hasn't eaten today, that's pre prandial
If patient has eaten 1-2 hours ago that's post prandial.

Hello ma, what if the patient has eaten more than 2 hours where will I document?
More so ma, if it was stated in the scenario pre meal, is it compulsory I ask if patient has eaten?
thank you so much for the video!
Can I ask do I need to mention pre and post meal range for the patient and their coresponding action required if low/high evn the result is normal? Also the chart I can find only shows blood glucose level but does not show the pre/post meal column, is the chart updated or it depends on different scenerio?
Hi, the intervention in brief will be required if it is outside normal. It is important to carefully look at the provided documents and write the values in the correct section.
