I think you did a commendable job making this preview considering the gun was a pre-production sample most likely cherry picked for this exact reason (as stated in the video). Like you pointed out the big question mark for many is the QC and how the production model will stack up to this and what, if any of your proposed changes will make it in. That being said, the flaws present in this probably cherry picked sample does not fill me with great confidence, and paints a picture of a company more interested in their bottom line than in making good products. Time will tell, but color me unimpressed so far. The video itself was great, I always love watching them!
Just so that you're aware, the DD bolt-up plate style handguards are meant to allow you to adjust the alignment of the handguard. Taking this case as an example where it's canting downward you would tighten the top two screws bit by bit until the handguard is straight.
We did actually try that. Without a crush washer or other compressible medium it seems difficult to effect any substantial adjustment; it's possible GHK did not appropriately copy the real thing.
Hi youtube Algorithm! Great video guys, I'm excited to see that Manufacturers are taking notice of your competent take down of their replicas, and hoping to use it to improve. I'm so proud of you guys!
One thing with older GHK ARs is the lower that contact the bolt stop actually deforms over use, especially you switch the weak buffer spring to anything stronger. The problem is so bad they actually redesign the upper and lower altogether in 2023, making them incompatible with the older ones. We have many pre-2023 V2 GHKs that encounter the opposite problem, when the bolt locks back it's so tight you can't release the bolt catch by thumb pressure along, but a hammer is required instead. Many end up using charging handle only to release the bolt.
Could you please review the new VFC CO2 magazines? It kinda performed terribly for me so wondering what I'd missed and would love your take / magic to make it actually good. I'd send you one if we lived in the same country lol

The lack of proper external parts, ie pistol grip, DD dust cover, charging handle, trigger guard, proper dimensions for DD uppers/lowers etc. is disappointing.
