Fuck Fuck Fuck! I was lost but now I'm found! I knew metal wasn't the answer for me. Rabea Massaad is totally right about this guy. Sayce's playing is absolutely mindblowing! That tone, that feeling, that vibrato... PERFECT!
saw this kid when he was 15 or 16, playing at my friend's bar in TO. had no idea who he was, but i could hear his talent! Philip has progressed with his playing, and presence on stage. a very conceptual player, outstanding! if you get a chance, see him live!
Absolutely unbelievable, Pete. Having seen Philip 4 times I thought I'd seen it all, but last night was completely off the scale. Thanks again for a great video.
Sayce is my all time favorite player, just mindblowing!💥 His tone is soo cool, he has that clarity when he plays chords and that fatness, it's wonderful.
Phenomenal. Why doesn't the world know who Phillip Sayce is. Cause the industry only cares about $ and this kind of talent unfortunately doesn't bring in the $. But Myley Cyrus and Justin Beiber do . That's sickening . They don't have a ounce of talent . The business crests them to become these huge pop stars . Let me tell you something , pop music sucks.
Ruben Kingman I wouldn't know of any evidence suggesting such a silly claim. All I know is that when I saw him at Biscuits and Blues in San Francisco a month ago, he mentioned that he was born in Wales. His instrumental "Aberystwyth" is named after his home town. Hey, thanks for playing.
joskam092 sounds like he hit the fuzz. Or he had it the klon, TS and Fuzz on together and he turned the volume up on his guitar. Usually when someone runs a klon it’s on all the time.
One of the heaviest vibratos out there!

its so cool to see a strat in such good hands-and the vocals....
Philip, as good as ever. I wish I could go back in time and watch and photograph the shows in Toronto, back in the 90's!
Tone of the Gods!!! Such a massive, perfect tone! Philip is the best!💥
Absolutely unbelievable, Pete. Having seen Philip 4 times I thought I'd seen it all, but last night was completely off the scale. Thanks again for a great video.

...there is no such thing as Justice in this world,.. and that includes the music Industry...
This world is backwards.
At 10:12, I really like that groove at the end !
Simply amazing - thanks for sharing
What a beast!
super excellent guitariste ! J'adore! au carrefour de Led Zeppelin, SRV et Hendrix !
that is the tone for me...if I had a way to achieve that tone I would be all set. That's the dream sound
plus the way he plays!
sounds like a total strat to me
You think maybe a little talent too maybe . Lol
Eb tuning. Big strings (11-52?). Fender tube amp cranked. Outboard reverb unit. Vintage Tube Screamer overdrive pedal....and really go for it.
This guy's amazing Pete! Great post & love the black n white. Roll on Wednesday in Bristol!!
Que bestia lo que toca.
Un son très brut et powerfull, tu sonne vraie philip continue !
His something else!
This is like 8 years old how does it only have 690 likes?
Matt Evans agreed.

Pete you should be a videographer in your next life. :)
♥
I hope his guitar is already 18
Nidal Eradi Indeed 😂
1963 strat. that makes it 56 yrs old
Gold star for being the 500th clever UA-cam commenter to submit that gem.
anyone know the name of that last little piece... if it even has a name? Tasty jam
I believe it's kind of a spin on Who Knows , Hendrix....then Third Stone from the Sun......he's done that tune before 👍🔥
@@bcummings2187 I figured it out its "little miss america" off of interevolution
he can really make that guitar moan....
.. no further comments .
Whats the last song
...Little Miss America.
what pedal does he hit at 6:00? Is it the klon or the tubescreamer?
joskam092 sounds like he hit the fuzz. Or he had it the klon, TS and Fuzz on together and he turned the volume up on his guitar. Usually when someone runs a klon it’s on all the time.
Anyone know the name of the song he is playing after he plays "As The Years Go Passing By"?
...Little Miss America...
@@omegalast800 Thanks :)
God is playing guitar.
Best titanium strings ever!!!!
Not that it matters but he sounds more like Hendrix than SRV in my opinion. Amazing nonetheless.
mike smith then your tone deaf . He sounds purely like SRV himself . Period
mike smith You're both wrong, he sounds like Phillip Sayce. Get a grip
Get an ear, asshole. SRV licks at high speed. Can't sing, can't write, etc. Playing 25 seaters as a career
no that's phillips sound...………………………………………..

Make some space for sayce cause his locomotive is pulling in
Like a runaway train!
