Been an Iron and Wine fan since I was early teenager I’m now 33, I play my favourite songs most days still, me and my dad share a love for so many, upward over the mountain will always be very close to my heart as well as the trapeze swinger, thank you for sharing your stories and music we appreciate you ❤

Biggest fan there ever was! Met Sam after a show several years ago...I can still feel the tears streaming down my face as he embraced my sobbing self! He then called me by name for several shows thereafter... No one has created such poetry with words since Rumi... no one has moved me the way he does... his music literally saved my life during my darkest hour❤

While listening to this beautiful new song, I glanced outside my kitchen window here in Madison Wisconsin and the music…Sam’s voice, guitar, string section, etc. …combined with strong winds in the pine trees literally took my breath away. Made my morning to hear that I&W is coming this way this summer! Looking forward to another great show and more take-my-breath-away moments 🌬️

This song scratches the itch between soothing and knowing. It’s not wholly a comfort which is a good thing, that’s why I fell in love with your music in the first place. Favorite artist and another pretty good new song. Saw them in concert recently though and ..... TERRIBLE. Uninspired, lazy effort ... played for just over an hour .. some quality stuff off of the new album but the song choices from previous albums were terrible. Pick an old song you loved and ... well guaranteed they either didn''t play it or did a hack job sounding cover. Single song encore that was just awful. DO NOT RECOMMEND - save your money and go to a concert by an artist who still apparently cares. That was hard to write about my favorite artist.
