- GB News host Darren Grimes says Meghan Markle found a way to make the African nation of Nigeria “all about her”.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to embark on an unofficial royal tour of Nigeria despite no longer working as members of the British monarchy.
The Sussexes will visit Nigeria this month, four years after giving up their roles as working royals and losing their HRH titles to move to California.
“People Magazine report that Ms Markle will not return to Britain, and Britain sighs a massive sigh of relief,” Mr Grimes told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“She’s only interested in Nigeria ... because guess what? She found a way to make the African nation all about her because she found out she had some historic connection through her ancestors of being of Nigerian descent.”

I tried to explain that to a sugar cube yesterday and I was called a lot of names and obviously because of my name they had a field day, Apparently although she claimed to be of Maltese descent so hello paid for her to go to Malta, Photo shoot etc, This was before Haz, Then in Jamaica she claimed some Jamaican blood I was told, Now Nigerian as well, Her dad is white with some Alsace region so border Germany/France, Name change from Merkle to Markle, Also some Irish and Dutch in her dad's background, Her mum is 50% black and has some non specific African blood, So I tried to explain that a person with that mix could not possibly be 43% Nigerian because her mum is only 50% black, Omg you can't believe the slagging I got, What had I got against Nigerians and black people, It was very vicious, I'm leaving out all the ways I could die etc. I wasn't trying to be nasty just pointing out the obvious but you can't win, In the end I just stopped trying to explain and blocked 5 of the craziest so that made my day, I never blocked anyone before and 5 in one day was so exhilarating
