Spiritual Song of the Aborigine

On International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, celebrated around the world on 9 August each year, we acknowledge Victoria’s First Peoples and proudly share ‘Spiritual Song of the Aborigine’, a poem written by Hyllus Maris, Founder of Worawa Aboriginal College, recited by the College Principal, Dr Lois Peeler AM. We have worked in partnership with Dr Peeler and Worawa to develop a new education resource, Aboriginal Change Makers, that is available to view online and download as an eBook at parliament.vic.gov.au/education.
