Your patches sound really good
what just happened? Cory has cracked the code. well done
I saw this library some time ago on Kontakt Hub and definitely wasn't sold, as it felt like I could get everything it offered from Super Audio Cart. While that's still true, the way you put it - working within the limitations of the original hardware - is something I didn't quite think of, and seeing how you've managed to work with it here is really great! While SAC would remain my workhorse with this kind of music, working with Lil Bit I imagine would be a bit more inspiring. I swear, you can sell me on almost anything!
really great patches here!
There's a library I bought on Christmas that I think you'd like as it's a nice hidden gem. It's called The Magical Box by Toysounds and it has a bunch of sounds from the NES era. It's really simple to use and dirt cheap. Absolutely love it. That is if you want to check out more old school stuff :)
This plugin made me get into making quasi chiptune music again :) Thank you for showcasing this library!
@@loganstahley Cheers! Used it at a friends house, haven't bought it myself. I tend to use synths to emulate 8-bit sounds since there's more flexibility.
I saw on bandcamp that you like mixim micic "bilo 3". i didnt know you like djent/ prog rock too. cool :)
Great! 😂 Thank you!
Not bad for what it can do, but given the nature of what it is(a sample library), unfortunately, it's never going to be very authentic when compared to what an actual 2A03 will do. And that may be just fine if you only want some 2A03 sounds, but don't want to be held back by the limitations of the chip.
For authenticity, however, there's FamiTracker, the most widely known program out there. But if you must use a DAW with VST support, try NES VST. It's really good, and it's as close as you can get to a FamiTracker-quality sequencer within that format since it adheres to the limitations I spoke of earlier. Best part, both of these are free to use!
Nice song at the end, by the way!
Your ending composition brought a big smile to my face. Do you have other social media where I can follow?
I have a Twitter @SolonoidStudio as well as my Solonoid Studio website. I mostly just post the videos I put here on UA-cam.
so nice of you to share those patches, they sound awsome
