When I get a little spillage around the cuticles from use the tips, I find that a quick 5-10 flash cure helps hold the tip in place while I use a cuticle nipper and scrape/clip the overflow. It usually kind peels/pops off. Saves extra filing later, just needs a light buff.
Idk curing any gel on the skin could cause allergies so always try to get rid of excess before you cure or you may ruin gel for yourself all together, and that would not be fun

In the inspo video u showed of insatiable nails she's actually using a nude colored extend gel that apres makes...but I love how u can use the poly instead if u don't have that exact base gel
My double dip nails come off after a week or they break off in the middle so I'm going to try this and hopefully they'll last longer! When I use tips, they last forever but these just pop off!

yes u don't pop the tip off you're using the polygel to stick the full cover tip on your nail. but you need a full cover tip like a clear fake nail not a dual form with the lines on it like you would usually use with polygel
@C's tutorials, I really wish you would give the beetles or ECBasket gel x dupe a try. I have both brands and the tips are better quality than double dip. Also im surprised you support a brand like double dip that made fun of beetles gel x dupe.

Instead of ripping it off your cuticle, just use your brush with the liquid to wipe it off before curing.

if you use a base or top coat instead of the blooming gel it’ll spread less

The one from the video is poly gel, it's colored extend gel or colored base gel but people use poly gel too

With the tye dye u have to pull the lines in one direction then pull lines in between the lines in the opposite direction
You have to move faster with the blooming gel dots and don’t let it rest as much

You should try doing that the dye on the blooming gel! You have to be fast tho.
i think the blooming gel was spreading so much because you were using liner gels. liner gels are thinner than regular gels.

How long does the gel x nails stay on?
Gel X can last 3 to 6 weeks as long as you don’t have any lifting or air bubbles
I just did mine for the first time, I've had them on almost 2 weeks and they don't seem to be going anywhere
