World Food Safety Day 2024

On 20 December 2018 the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution 73/250 proclaiming a World Food Safety Day. Starting in 2019, every 7 June will be a time to celebrate the myriad benefits of safe food.
The theme for this year's celebration is "Food safety - prepare for the unexpected" that is dedicated in raising awareness about food safety incidents and the significance of being ready during food safety incidents regardless of the severity.
No matter who you are or what you do, you have an important role in keeping our food safe. That's why celebrating World Food Safety Day reminds us that food safety is everyone's business.
