He said 49% would feel angst and 51% will be fascinated but yeah
I haven’t read the novel yet, only manhwa, but I’ve gotten spoiled, AND YES THAT WAS FOUL💀
I like how when he talks about this in the video at 3:49, he adds a clip of the honkai star rail train 😅 truly the 49 and 51% angst 😂😂😂

SIR YOU ARE FOUL
ORV became such a powerful fandom when it ended. Iirc Korean fans had a charity for orphans during Dokja’s birthday in 2019. And then they even had ORV promotions on their subway trains.
The novel really be doing a movement to people
If you want to know all the Orv and don't want to spoil the story watch the video "badly explaining all of Orv in 6 minutes" it's mind boggling accurate
I saw it and uhm…I got confused and even more hyped for the rest of the story ngl. All I learned is that Kim Dokja’s a squid but also a monkey and that he brings a bigger apocalypse to end the apocalypse and that there’s Yoo Joonghyuk from the past and present who wants to kill the Yoo Joonghyuk from the past and that there are mini Yoo Joonghyuk and a dumpling Yoo Joonghyuk and that Kim Dokja won’t stop sacrificing himself. Also Han Sooyoung is so done with them. I find it funny.
Although I’m reading the Mahnwa. I love it so far.
@@YouToob587that’s the point lol, it’s to explain Orv true to the novel without spoiling it, it’s also the reason why I got into Orv
@@LilyWhitesLKahahah yes I know. Although the part where in the video it said “Kim Dokja the monkey” and “Han sooyoung turned into the two Han Sooyoung’s to turn into the one Han Sooyoung” and the “Death is social construct” seriously had me laughing but also confused.
@@YouToob587 Oh honey...
True I love the part where Kim Dokja became a squid then turned into a monkey
I love how fast paced this Novel is, for 550 chapters you'd expect it to be lengthy and boring but boy i wasn't bored a second. (Was too busy wallowing in pure grief and suffering)
Orv keeps you on your toes.
No amount of spoilers can prepare for what an abomination of a story it actually is

Ofcourse Orv is not underrated..
Orv fans will go to the end of the world just to prove its one of the Best novel/manhwa ever made
Underrated to the general 🤣 but yes this fandom keeps giving me ptsd of the ending even after finishing it. All the edits
Yes i agree with you, orv is the one of big three manwha, but general for the world is still lacking
I've been deemed the weird kid in school because I went up to people and started talking about orv

respect for catching these things
this is a story that will change you. there's nobody that is more relatable in this world than the beautiful character of Kim Dokja. there's no person more loveable than Dokja.
ORV is one of the greatest Manwhas I’ve ever read.
*REASONS WHY* :
•-•-•-•-•-•-•
1. Most characters (Including the MC) are actually not teenagers, but instead an adult which is hella refreshing when considering most series (Whether Manwha, Manga, Etc..) feature teenage characters.
2. The side characters aren’t there to look pretty or watch the MC do their stuff, however, they actually engage in the plot and a few are actually stronger than the MC
3. The MC is not an OP character, he uses his wits and knowledge of the Novel (He read) to his own advantage
4. Plot Armor barely exists, characters can *DIE* (Doesn’t matter whether the character is the audiences favourite or not )
But the one that dies the most definitively is Dokja- despite that...
I'm at side story point. And I'm just suffering at this point-
@@IceFox-rb9tp now that i think about it, him being death and come back to live is a part of his ability so its not like a plot armor.
Still overpowered bro just not in a traditional sense he knows the ins and outs of damn near every situation

this isnt the number of regression he think it is. thats why sometime he misscalculated his plan and things will get more interesting as i read the novel. maybe would be better if i waited a bit for the manhwa but the story is just that good
Wait I forgor, who died aside the squid?😭😭

clarifying: Dokja was 15 (he was just small for his age) when he started reading TWSA. he's 28 at the start of the story. BUT DEFINITELY HIGHLY AGREE WITH THIS REC. people who haven't read the webnovel, please anticipate an official translation in the coming years. and people who are just reading the manhwa, CONTINUE TO SUPPORT IT, IT WILL DEFINITELY BE A RIDE YOU WON'T FORGET.
25 at start, then 28 after coming back after the demon realm
@@wanderingllama7071 28 at the start. 3 years happened while he was in the other worldline for a few days/a week at most, so technically he was still 28 while everyone else got older by 3 years. go back to chapter one. I just checked the webtoon, also, literally it has Dokja Kim (28).
Oh ok sorry I forgot about that
Still it is confusing, bc dokja started reading twsa at 15, then it ended after 10 yrs. So he should have been 25, not 28… oh well idk anymore
Hang on I’m so sorry I am mistaken it went for 13 yrs shoot I forgot
@@wanderingllama7071 i think he says "10 years" to round the number. because saying 13 makes it more embarrassing. 10 years already is a long time to dedicate yourself to a story, but 13 is just worse (in Dokja's view of how everyone sees his habits)
ORV is truly one of the best novels and manhwas I've ever read, it is a perfect mix of everything. I equally love and hate how much of a fool our beloved squid Dokja is. I really hope he understands how much his companions care and love him and finally gets his happy ending with them! ❤️❤️

ORV is so underrated. On my 3rd reread of the novel and I find myself finding more and more things I've missed throughout the story. Each read is a treat and I still get chills when certain scenes happen. If you know those scenes you will know what I'm talking about. Overall best novel I've ever read. Only die hard fans who have read till end can ever understand those heavy feeling we were feeling which will still come gushing out when we reminiscence that scene of dokha taking over the place of this predecessor, sorry I got carried away...😊
Man, ORV is probably one of the most unique pieces of fiction I have read, started reading the Manwha about 3 years ago when it was just more 1 year old, and followed it for three more years or so, and after that decided to check the Novel, and oh boy I loved every single bit of it!!! I definitely recommend reading it, be it the novel or the Manwha :D
People still say Sl is better than orv storywise, artwise. I know i get Sl is a perfect manhwa to start getting into reading manhwa. But is it better than orv tho?
@@naimahakim1026 The stories may seem similar at first glance but go in completely diffrent ways eventually so it would be kind of unfair to compare the two. Solo leveling might be better if the reader wants a more action fantasy themed story and might be an easier read (I might be wrong though as I havent really finished it yet) but orv is better for people who want a more complex story with more deeper themes. (most of those things end up coming later on in the novel though so it's no big surprise that they still get compared often) In the end I'm really biased so i'd say that orv is better but many would argue against.
I kind of feel like I can predict the entire outcome of the story, based off just how it starts and the comments people have made about it. It doesn't really seem unique at all. It seems virtually identical to the thousand of other stories, all which have their own 'gimmick'.
@@naimahakim1026 As a guy who glazes both series, solo leveling is better for beginners because its a really basic story with top tier art. However, ORV has a significantly better storyline and world building and character development. In all honesty, the story of solo leveling is a little underwhelming and characters are neglected and the art kind of carries the series while ORV may not have better art but it has a much better story and themes(the art is still fire tho).

definitely agree, i'm currently reading the webnovel for it and it's just incredible! i love it sm
I’m so glad more people are reading ORV. After I finished it for the first time, I sobbed for a long time. It was one of hardest crying sessions I’ve had in my life. I was despondent for days afterwards, just thinking about all I had read. And then I read it again. It was years ago now, but this novel has still left a profound impact on me.
This video just inspired me to go read it a third time. Hopefully there will be less crying involved (I doubt it still lol)
This is one of the best manhwas out there.. i have been reading this since it began... now it has progressed so much... I will read the Novel soon...

dude, i'm so damn happy you covered this one. It's incredible, and was the first story in a looong time that made me shiver while i read it.
I agree with you and I think it is the best manhwa because all the manhwa games follow the path of the Solo level (a world, a portal, etc., etc.), and this is an idea that has been implemented to the point that it has become annoying......
But this manhwa invented a new world with a beautiful and more beautiful foundation for the idea that stars can give you feedback and support you... Just like us, viewers of your channel, we are waiting for the day when you become a big UA-cam constellation like Kin Dogma.
i strongly agree with you. every single conversation in orv is so meaningful. literally every single one. and just the world building is so amazing.
I love the novel so much but i cannot live my daily life like before, though no regrets. But with all my honesty you should read the novel or the webtoon it is a very well written story that the writer put so much thought and passion, with so many twist and turns, the longer you read the more attached you become to the characters, the characters are unique in ways, the views are breath taking, most importantly the story is surely unique, I cannot explain the shocks I had when reading it. I recommend not watching spoilers to keep it fresh.
Spoiler alert!
i just realized Yoo Junghyuk showed up in the world after the fall manga to spread the story of Kim Dokja or looking for him i really dont remember(my stupid ass said solo leveling its actually the world after the fall its in chap 526/537 if i remember correctly)

YES! ORV is one of the greatest pieces of fiction ever created. I binged the entire web novel within a few days and it was totally worth it. I can't even begin to explain how epic it was reading it... one of my favorite scenes was the story surgery.. i can't say more coz spoilers, but.. iykyk 😅❤❤
Thanks for making this video! Glad a novel reader is sharing an inkling of the epic story this is.. i wish i could edit videos I'd spazz over this so much 😅
I finished this story 2 years ago when I was about to enter college. I was going to choose psychology major but changed course literally in the last second to English Literature after eyeing psychology ever since I was in middle school. The novel's writing style is not complicated, but not overly simple either and just perfect for me. It is a very impactful story especially to people who 'bonds' with fictional character. Like Dokja who would sacrifice everything for Joonghyuk and other characters from the novel, I would probably do the same for him.
the music choice for this vid was very nice

One of the best light novels I’ve ever enjoyed. You should try Shadow Slave next if you haven’t already.
Orv is such a well written novel where every characters can be relatable and really likeable especially Kim dokja He was the representation of us readers trying to escape reality and he just felt so real to me. The dynamic between the characters, the plot, the foreshadowing, the world building, the quotes, the immaculate art of blackbox-nim, and the characters who I'm emotionally attached with like Han Sooyoung who wasted 13 years of her life energy just for that reader, Yoo Jungyuk who regressed 1864 times just to meet him, Jung Heewon who just wants to just protects the man who saved him, Lee Gilyoung and Shin yoosoung which Kim dokja became their parent figure, Sangah who is someone Kim Dokja he can be himself with and someone who can understand him and thats just a few of the characters and they are just perfect. The open ending was a perfect move where us readers will imagine the ending ourselves. As Kim Dokja said "The story won't end until the reader gives up on it".
If reincarnation is actually real, I just wish to read this masterpiece again.
Finally, some representation for this masterpiece. Its so underrated
Imagine the final chapter of this releases, and the apocalypse happens after the first person reads the last chapter, likes it, and comments on it all on a specific site
That final line on this damn novel broke me... I had to take a walk around my home to sink in and it still hurts to this day
