Excellent food processor for the price
My old Hamilton Beach food processor had given up the ghost so I opted for this Cuisinart based on American Test Kitchen's product review. Right out of the box I noted that the blades are quite sharp as I managed to slice my finger with little effort. This food processor is hands down the quietest food processor I've ever used and the blade pulse is quick. I noticed some people complained in the reviews before I bought this food processor that it was difficult to clean, but I have to disagree with this assessment. This food processor doesn't have many bells and whistles but I personally like the simplicity of this machine. As noted in the American Test Kitchen review the gap between the chopping blade and the bottom of the container is rather large, so chopping small quantities of ingredients isn't really an option but this isn't a problem for me. In summary, the Cuisinart Custom 14 is a far better food processor than my old Hamilton Beach and in my opinion was worth the money.
