As an ex landlord of a pub in Gloucestershire long ago; I cannot get my head around cloudy beers. I know that some are apparently supposed to be, but if I see cloudy draught it means dirty pipes; not enough settling time or a bad barrel. Can't help myself, no cloudy beers for me. Our pub as a matter of interest, was built in 1325 if memory serves, and it was the second pub on the site. (first one burnt down) Thanks for the vids, going to have to send you an invoice for down time as I work from home..:)
Hi guys. Loving the video. Great to see the drone back in action. You two look very relaxed. Almost as relaxed as a wooden wheelbarrow full of strawberries 🍓... with chocolate on top . Bridgett says hi to you both and to let you know Wendy that your print has arrived and is on the wall pride of place. She loves it ❤️
Good Morning Magnus ,Wendy, Good to see you both!! The Drone is working well again. The Wreck is wonderful! How long has, it been there? Any history on it? Beautiful Bay Wonderful scenery, Weather lovely for winter. You both looking well. Have you started packing for your 17 day trip yet Wendy!! That's the kind of market l like. Look forward to next Vlog. Are you still going to meet up in November? At the pub. Thank you. S.
Hi Sarah. The wreck has been there about 4 years. She ended up there after a big storm. Her name is Magic. She was a beautiful boat. Yes we are meeting at the 'Swan in the Rushes' at 12 noon on Sat 4th November. Hope you can make it. Cheers
It's OK Wendy, Weiss Beer is supposed to be cloudy (well, it can be clear if you want). I first tasted it in Germany and I really like it. You've got to drink it out of the correct glass, like the one you had. We spent a while with some German friends trying to buy one in Germany and we couldn't. They gave us a couple of glasses to bring home but when we walked into our local Tesco, they had loads on the shelf! You can also get a good selection of German Weiss Beers here too. Happy birthday.
Love Airlie Beach...been lucky to walk around Canonvale Beach was amazed with that schooner shipwreck, what an awesome view when we first saw it...and we also had a great adventure out to Whitehaven Beach on the purple Cat...everyone was seasick except me and my hubby, when ever anyone threw up we kept moving to the other side of the cat it was absolutely rough sail that day but laughed all day long...LOL
I first went to Airlie Beach in 1986 when I was riding my Honda XL250 round OZ, and last went there in 2003 I think. Guess what though....... Didn't recognize ANY of it! Hahaha!
Happy birthday! I know this sounds made up but I was there about 1.3 weeks ago. We explored the reef on a boat called big fury. It's amazing that UA-camrs you follow can be so close to places you've just been. It's a small world!
Magnus, that was a LARC, the more modern version of the DUKW of WW2. LARC is short for Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo developed in the 50's and some are still in use today by gov't departments and tour operators.
Happy Birthday Wendy watched these last two wrong way round, but hey this one was so enjoyable. You live in a wonderful place by the look of it. Love the beach drone footage Magnus back to his best flying the Mav. Cheers
and you two chose to spend a winter on the UK canals with that as your home, starting point? but you were still so positive about all that you saw in the cold wet uk. i think that's what i find so infectious, thanks for another great video.
Magnus...NO, I don't know what five chocolates out of a chocolate box eaten all at once taste like! But it does sound interesting :) Glad you found a decent beer so far from proper beer country :) Happy birthday Wendy. I hadn't realised you are as old as 42...I'd thought late 30s :) Remember to Slip, Slap, Slop in that heat :)
We saw her about 3 years ago too, and she didnt look too bad...was surprised to actually see her in your video..but I guess a couple of cyclones later, no one would look too good...
We've just bought 2 bottles of that Blue Moon wheat beer at Sainsbury's so that's a coincidence. The Belgian wheat beers do tend to look a bit like a urine specimen (with a kidney issue!) but my husband likes to try them. We'll give it a go tomorrow and hopefully it'll be more than a 3! Thanks for the video. It looks nice but not as nice as the GU but obviously I'm biased!
We had 2 bottles of beer so after your vlog we decided to have 1 each to try it! I didn't really detect any citrus but thought it was nice and refreshing and I'd give it a 7. My husband was researching his family tree while he had his beer and was so engrossed in an old census he forgot to drink it. It was only when we were in bed and I asked him what he thought that he realised he hadn't drank it! Any way he jumped up and ran to try it he said it was definitely a 9 out of 10 but he loves German and Belgium wheat beers.
And you bought a boat in England are you mad! I live in in England if I came from a beautiful place like this I would never return to blighty haha brilliant vlog guys
wow! beaut place you live! oh no! the wheelbarrowr of chocolate of not doom strikes again! lol im guessing you drunk all wendy's beer magnus! lol then got another round of it (well i would have... the second round not wendys!)
Your first clue should have been 'wheat' - you do not make beer out of wheat it is just plain wrong. Something the Belgians (who claim to have invented beer - a couple of thousand years after the Ancient Egyptians albeit) came up with as I recall. Good to see you guys relaxing at home. Cheers
Mrs Wendy if you can smuggle the " Narrow boat experience " girls to OZ. Then why can't ya smuggle the nutshell over?? Lol. Hope the Nutshell gets a good owner. If I hit the lotto I would love to spend a year !!

Lovely view, but I find myself missing Nutshell. But it's always a good time hanging out with you two. Carry on and happiest of birthdays.
Thank you Lee. W
Wow really nice. Happy birthday Wendy. Watching this in Florida, head down avoiding hurricane Irma. Wish i was there.
Thank you Peter. Hope you are safe. W

Hi Mark & Bridgett. It's great to be back together again. We got some amazing footage from the drone on our trip across Australia. Cheers guys.

Thank you Mike. And thank you for taking care of Nutshell while we are away. W
Last time we were there they were still building the Marina. Time flies.
The new marina is looking good. Cheers

Hi Sandra. We have also been out on the cat Camira. It's a great sail to Whitehaven. Cheers
Been to that market and loved the cane sugar / lemon drink... Another great film, many thanks and welcome home.
Thank you. Cheers
Ow you're talking--beer reviews! Cheered me right up this morning. Cheers.

It was yummy. Cheers
Happy birthday! I know this sounds made up but I was there about 1.3 weeks ago. We explored the reef on a boat called big fury. It's amazing that UA-camrs you follow can be so close to places you've just been. It's a small world!
Hi Ozzy. Sure is a small world. Cheers
Very beautiful marina! What's the story about that shipwreck?
Hi Cyndee. The vessel 'Magic' ran aground there a few years ago after a big storm.
Magnus, that was a LARC, the more modern version of the DUKW of WW2. LARC is short for Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo developed in the 50's and some are still in use today by gov't departments and tour operators.
I knew someone would have all the info. Thanks.
Happy Birthday Wendy watched these last two wrong way round, but hey this one was so enjoyable. You live in a wonderful place by the look of it.
Love the beach drone footage Magnus back to his best flying the Mav. Cheers
Thank you Ade. W
Beautiful.
Thank you.
Happy BD Wendy......Can't get pver how good Airlie looks so soon after Cyclone Deb. CYA Brad
Thanks. Yes Airlie is looking wonderful again. W

Hi Darren. We had the best winter ever aboard Nutshell. It was so different from any other winter we have ever had. Thanks
Hello! Magnus and Wendy nice to see you guys again.
🎂Happy Birthday🎂 enjoy your Especial Day.🍻Cheers!!
Thank you Marilyn. W
My parents managed a resort there for years -- loved the place.
It’s a wonderful little town. W
@@LifeinaNutshell went there about 50 years ago, a few shacks , a few houses like Zara Holt's place and nice views,,,,,,,It has changed...
Hallo Wendy and Magnus hope you both doing well and hope you have gr8t weekend :-)
Thank you Malte. We are having a fantastic time. Cheers

Hi Wendy & Magnus, great flying skills with the drone! 👍 what's the story of the 3 masted wreck in the bay ? Would make a great project boat !
The vessel 'Magic' ran aground there a few years ago after a big storm. It would have made a great project 3 years ago but she is to far gone now.
We saw her about 3 years ago too, and she didnt look too bad...was surprised to actually see her in your video..but I guess a couple of cyclones later, no one would look too good...
Nutshell would fit right in parked (nestled?) in between those floating Gin Palaces moored in your harbour :)
She would look fantastic there.
Haha yes Blue Moon does taste like moldy oranges and dishwater. I felt a bit sick after drinking it.
I don't know how they can keep selling it. Cheers
Hi Sylvia. I would love to hear what you husband thinks of the Blue Moon. Cheers

Happy birthday Wendy, is your new boat safe from the hurricane ?
Hi Dave. Thank you. Yes she is safe. W
And you bought a boat in England are you mad! I live in in England if I came from a beautiful place like this I would never return to blighty haha brilliant vlog guys
kevin Mrs Wendy is from England and there selling the Nutshell !!
Hi Kevin. It is a beautiful place that we live in but England is just as beautiful with her history and beer. Cheers
Will that be your home port? Perhaps get a rent buoy if you pop in now and then?
We have no idea where we will end up. No real plans yet. Cheers
how often do you just not finish the beers cause they are bad?
Only very rarely. Cheers
I miss Straya so much :(
Hi Guys, there is an iPhone/Android app called "Can I fly there" put out by CASA, so you know exactly where and where not to fly your drone in Aus.
What a coincidence. I got it the other day. It's very useful.
wow! beaut place you live!
oh no! the wheelbarrowr of chocolate of not doom strikes again! lol im guessing you drunk all wendy's beer magnus! lol then got another round of it (well i would have... the second round not wendys!)
Hi Geoff. Yep it was lovely. Cheers
As an American I apologize for the quality of our mass produced beers.
Dont apologise. Mass produced beers are the same the world over.
Your first clue should have been 'wheat' - you do not make beer out of wheat it is just plain wrong. Something the Belgians (who claim to have invented beer - a couple of thousand years after the Ancient Egyptians albeit) came up with as I recall. Good to see you guys relaxing at home. Cheers
Beggars can't be choosers in our small town. you have to take what you can get as far as beer goes. Cheers
I preferred Muddy Bay
Hi. We loved Muddy Bay too. Thanks for watching. W.
Mrs Wendy if you can smuggle the " Narrow boat experience " girls to OZ. Then why can't ya smuggle the nutshell over?? Lol. Hope the Nutshell gets a good owner. If I hit the lotto I would love to spend a year !!
We hope she finds a new owner that will cherish her as well. W
