Why do they keep messing with the reputation of the Mustang name. I am a Ford fanatic and although they produce awesome vehicles why keep using the Mustang name we got an electric SUV named the Mustang Mach e and now a pickup truck what's the point you have the F-150 which they offer with a boosted 5.0 that makes over 700 horsepower personally don't think it's the right marketing move keep the legacy of the Mustang a performance sports car end of story. Blue oval and Ford Racing fan for life.

@lincolnls0416 the Mustang and Ford in general are my favorite car brand I just disagree .the Mustang is a car and should stay a car they don't need to make three different vehicles with all the name Mustang. it's already the number one selling Sports / muscle car just saying looks like a very cool vehicle use a different name just my opinion.

Get ready. Ford will create Mustang as its own brand. GM will do the same with Corvette to rival Porsche. I don’t mind it. After all, Porsche is owned by VW. Or is it the other way round? Either way, Ford and GM need to provide some excitement if they any are going to survive. GM should be Chevrolet, Cadillac, Corvette & GMC. Dump Buick. Put the next Camaro under Corvette. Ford should take a similar structure - Ford, Lincoln & Mustang. The rebuild after the GFC & bankruptcy has taken too long. Time for bold ideas!
