Even if you had upgraded to premium, you still would have the older entertainment system and no air vents. I wish we could get those prices from the USA to DXB. Economy is $1000, Premium is $2000
Hi Andy the flight that is from Manchester Airport was delayed by 32 minutes which isn't too bad. compared to our flight from London Stansted Airport on Friday August 25th 2023. which was supposed to have took off at 13:55pm and land at Zakynthos Airport at 19:30pm but it was delayed by 1h59 minutes which meant that instead of taking off from stansted at 13:55pm we didn't take off from there until 15:54pm which meant that we had landed in zakynthos at 21:00pm which was 90 minutes later than we expected but nevermind hopefully our next three Holiday flights from 2 or 3 different UK Airports will all take off on time and not get delayed at all.
Mr Coaster, I took the same flight in August and the same as your experience it was a pretty uncomfortable 7 hours, but the food and service was very good. As I was getting off I heard a bloke complaining about the state of the plane, and the stewardess told him that the 787's are overdue a refurb which should be happening soon. Regarding the food I always pre-order the Muslim meal, that way you are guaranteed a Curry and Rice, which you can't go wrong with and get served first along with the others that request a special meal. P.S. A little hotel tip for when you have to pay next time, is the Premier inn Al Jaddaf, I stayed for 10 nights in August and the room and hotel facilities were much more modern than your hotel and including the unlimited breakfast the total was £386, which is only £39 a night, or £29 a night if you don't want breakfast, a real bargain.
@Coaster_Crazy there's a great Italian resturant called viva rewlly good prices too amazing pizza And also a sports bar called the keg with pool table and darts and looks epic at night Also a zombie pirate dance show at 8.30 and 9 PM
There's always loads of idiots on flights who put their seat into recline before take off, and then the attendants have to go round telling them to put it back up for take off. Like the idiot in front of you. It does your nut in. Nice vlog. Nice and honest. Like it.
You can check in 34 hours before flight and choose a seat for free. If your bronze you ca do this 7 days prior so you dont have to splash out money next time :)
@@Coaster_Crazy I’m going to Dubai in January and I need to pay for my seat and my mum needs to pay for her seat infront of me so I don’t have a panic attack when someone puts their seat back. We will be gla/Dubai with emirates
@@Coaster_Crazy Sometimes there’s very good deals on, £330 I paid for a business class upgrade in June ‘22. It probably helped that the flight was booked using a voucher though, so didn’t feel so bad paying it.
British Airways is an awful service these days always better Emirates 👍 The Boeing 777 - 300 ER isn't great either, Airbus a380 is always the best plane 😊
Hi Andy, great vlog , we stayed on the mariner , j c ocean hotel ,back in 2015 .our balcony had views of the construction of the ana big wheel.

Yes the hotels over there are very cheap
Compare that to the price of a vegas room

I should have paid the extra and gone with Emirates lol flown with BA a few times now and not impressed at all
