Hi Justin, We are torn between the Isle Explorer Pro 12 and 14 and have read your reviews. Do you think the 14 would not be stable enough for Antelope Canyon? Also, I'm 5' 5" and slightly worried the 14 would be too big for me (have never paddled more than a 12'6"X30X6 board. Thank you! Great video!
The biggest difference between the 12' and the 14' is their maneuverability. the 12' is much easier to turn than the 14'. Stability-wise they are fairly close, but the extra half-inch of width on the 12' gives it a slight advantage. Either would be a great option for Antelope Canyon.
@@LL-zg8ff Absolutely not. Height and board length aren't really correlated for sizing. Length primarily dictates the general use of the board (shorter boards 10-12' for all-around/cruising, longer boards for touring/racing).
Last time I paddled this stretch in 2017, there were large tour boats coming through the first 2/3rds of the canyon throwing 2 ft wakes. Have they done away with all the tour boats?
I couldn't tell you for sure. There is a 5 MPH speed limit in the canyon, but any large-enough boat is still going to cause a decent wake in the narrow canyon. Best to get out there early to beat the tourists!
Great video!
Thanks for your time on this.
Being on a paddleboard you were able to access way more than I was in my boat, but yes, it is biblical. We love that area. Thanks for the deeper ride.
Wow, that must have been magical! Breathtaking trip! Great video❤
It was awesome. Thanks! I highly recommend it if you get the chance to go

@@InflatableBoarder Do you think there is a minimum height for a person to use a 14' board?
