Putting gas on my BMW R nineT motorcycle

When I put gas on my motorcycle for the first time I almost broke the lid thinking it opens all the way back and the nozzle goes in like in cars. Then I watched a UA-cam video how to put gas in my motorcycle and here I am. :)

Hey, just picked up this bad boy. My gas light indicator is not going away after fill up. Any suggestions?
