- The reason why the 2nd and 3rd tones in Chinese are so difficult for Mandarin learners to distinguish and pronounce decently is probably because of the teaching method and explanations that have been used for decades!

I am chinese myself. I understand the confusion through the second tone and the third tone. The second tone is where it goes up, the third tone is where your voice kinda goes deeper and the sound goes from down to up. I am sure lots of you will not understand.
They sound very similar and sometimes they sound the same 😨
This is exactly what has me totally confused, I think I just need to listen more
we need some excercises that targets this similar words and helps you practice to differenciate them.
Think of it like the sounds that these tones make when they are next to each other. 1st and 1st tone will have the same sound, 2nd and 3rd, and so on and so forth. I believe theres about twenty words you can memorize to help you remember the sounds
There are only 19(20) Tone Pairs. No more, no less
the two "sheng huo" sound exactly the same to me
It does take some time to train our ears😊
@@RitaChinesealso - you can tell in context right? When native speakers are speaking casually, the tones are virtually indistinguishable,
Right?
@tripp8833 yes there are many dialects so in China they often have to use context
Would be cool to have more to practice listening, maybe some used in sentences to hear the difference in natural connected speech
Its how crazy how I as a portuguese speaker can easily recongnise the tones but its surprisingly hard to reproduce it
Good stuff tanks for sharing 🤩👍🇲🇽🍀🌹
So the 1st character tone 2 in 2+4 is pronounce longer compare to the 1st character tone 3 in 3+2. Am i getting it right?
You are some similar to Shen Yue actress
يمه مو قادرة افرق😅
我喜欢 : 无数
why is Chinese confusing:
there are simply too many dialects and writings
Its so damn hard lol
it's still harder for me to remember the tonal forms 😭
slow slow said if fast said is understand very difficulty
as a chinese, when i was a primary student,i usually melt this problems.it's very difficult.it likes different pronunciation English word ,but they have the same spelling.
其实没那么难,语言一定要生活化,经常用一点都不难,比英语的多义词容易太多
@@wendixu4011 hi ☺️ do you have an advice to master the tones 😭?
I have started dreaming in Chinese😂 and in my dream, even though in my head I know the right tones, I make a mistake 😢😂
❤
They all sound similarz ik there is a difference but only chinese people can see the difference
You gotta ask yourself why mandarin is the second most taught language in the us...next to Espanol, obviously.
Meanwhile Polish:
Tak! Tak? Tak.. Tak!
Zamek, zamek, zamek...
Núlì ( 奴隶) and nûlì (努力 )sound th same 😨😰🤔
