One thing I did on my Brompton is to screw the pull chain all the way in (twist back amount necessary for the chain to bend in the direction of the pull); then I put the nut all the way down and screw all the way down; then adjust the pull via the nut holding the shifter cable. That way when you need to take off the wheel, you don't have to fiddle around when you put it back together (just screw both ends all the way in). Saves time when you're commuting and have a flat on the back tire.
