There are great songwriters and then there is Dylan. Another level. I’m so glad you did this song. It moves me to tears. Your reaction was a treat x

Bob helps you find the words to express how you feel, or how you didn't even know you feel, without telling you how to feel. Great reactions 👍.

The beauty of his art is that it ages well and the meanings evolve as we do. It’s like a gold mine that keeps giving.

Bob Dylan never let's you down, song after song, album after album, even his throwaway songs that he didn't think were good enough for release, such as Seven curses, Percy's song, Caribbean wind, abandoned love, all brilliant! He is a freak of nature, and, at the same time, the greatest composer of the 20th Century, enough said!

How! Exactly "how" did he write so many great songs. Well over 600 songs.

Love your reaction! Bob has always been 'out there', in the forefront, making waves (and sense) about stuff that no others dared to. I admire him for that, and I admire you for such a genuine reaction. ❤

The Byrds cover of "Chimes Of Freedom" rings true also. It shows how Dylan's songs invited musical conversations back when.

Wonderful to see you turn on to that. If brings something new to me. Beautiful. I’m sure he’d be touched by your awareness, If you want to hear him really laugh & laugh yourself try Bob Dylan’s 115th dream

Hey Cimdy I recommended this to you a while back. I am pleased you came to it It in my view is certainly one of Bob Dylan’s most important songs. His descriptions of the human condition in search of freedom ! The struggles tribulations also the identification of prejudice the disadvantaged the perseverance and quest to understand and be free of restraint’s and shackles and the possibilities of the human potential’s! ❤ when you can visit “ Highland “ and also on Time Out of Mind “ I Can’t Wait “ “ Mississippi “ I think the various versions on his so called Bootleg album “ Tell Tale Signs “ are amongst my favourites in Bobs later period

I LOVE this song from "Another side of Dylan" a really incredible album you might want to check out "My back Pages", "I don't believe you", "All I really want to do" and "Ramona"! I've been listening and loving Bob for 60 years but your channel has got me listening more than any time since I was a teenager and after all these years "Maybe I'm amazed" at his genius!

Thea Gilmore dropped a banger of a cover of "Drifter's Escape" in 2011. It's worth the search.

Love Bob Dylan, but, other artists do a better job of interpreting his music. Bruce Springsteen released an amazing live version of Chimes of Freedom back in 1988.
