Hmm.. let me see. There’s only one ‘pocket where the insert fits so, I don’t think you could use 2 inserts. but you just need to rotate the ‘scarf’ so that the plastic is wherever you think you’ll need it. Also, not sure where you’d get the 2nd insert from unless you buy another TRTL. I hope that helps.
9:33 Great review, thanks. ‘Frontways’ there is support if you wear it with the clip to the rear. Neck pillows are almost universally worn the wrong way around.
After actually travelling with the ‘winner’ I’ve come to the temporary conclusion that perhaps some of us were never meant to sleep comfortably on a plane. 😢
Interesting! No, I didn’t try that. .. but the more I think about it the more I wish I had. I have a feeling it wouldn’t have fit that way though. But that’s just a guess.
Someone else mentioned that too. And it looks like it would work that way but the images all showed the way I was using it. Too bad I didn’t still have it to test. Looks like it could’ve been effective.
@@neverendingweekend it did! i was trying to choose between 2-3 different brands, but i found it hard to choose based on just comments online. your video was very informative (and i could see clearly which would likely work for me), and it led me to decide which one to buy. thank you again!
Trtl is our go to neck pillow for long-haul flights. The Cabeau is our second choice - ours has a case and it rolls up fairly small and then attaches with a carabiner to your personal bag. It works best when you attach it to your headrest! We have not used a blow-up pillow that we like.
I saw a different cabeau after making this video (I added the link in the description). I wish I tried it because it has a strap for your chin. Looks promising. 🤔
Did you go on the trip? I bought the turtle… I have an overnight flight and never can sleep on the plane, was hoping you had good news for us heavy headed, front and side head flopping sleepers 💁♀️
I forgot to bring it! 😆 But I got my family their own, so I borrowed it. I’ve decided I can’t get comfortable enough on a plane to sleep for longer than an hour or two. BUT, saying that, it does work well. And surprisingly wasn’t as hot under the collar as I thought it’d be. Still ‘recommended’ after my flight. Safe travels!
@@neverendingweekend what! After such a great review of them all.. darn! Ok.. so think I’m going to try this sarisun thing… it’s an eye mask and neck contraption that attaches to the plane’s chair headrest… I’m hoping between the turtle thing and these strap it up thing that maybe, just maybe I can sleep…. A little 😵💫 Wish me luck 🤣
I have about 12 hours of flying to do on Wednesday, so I was hoping for something special. I could never wrap something around my neck, especially if it is an elastic material, though. Thank you anyway.
That’s what I thought as well. I have relatively sensitive skin (if that tag on the back of a shirt rubs me the wrong way, forget about it), and also sensitive to heat (don’t like to sweat). But after using it, it squashes my concerns. Also, there is a ‘cool’ version. But, regardless, hopefully you can get some rest. I’ve realized, no matter how comfortable I am, I can’t really sleep on planes. 🤷♂️
I just got the trtl and was concerned about heat (that’s why I didn’t buy it long time ago) but the fabric is pretty light, surprisingly. My trip is in two weeks. I bought a new normal inflatable $8 to take with me just in case!
Thank you, really good review, nice and true dinamic simulation :D !
Thanks for the kind words. The ‘simulation’ was fun part. 😴🥱
Awesome reviews! Hope you are having a good time!
Would’ve been better if I remembered to bring that travel pillow. 🤦♂️
😢
Can you put two inserts on the trtl pillow so you can switch sides?
Hmm.. let me see.

The regular travel pillow and teh Yicoe are being used backward. Opening and straps to the back.
Really!? You mean, try it backwards or I’m using it backwards from the way it’s designed?

That’s what I thought! But would be equally uncomfortable the other way (for different reasons). Thanks for the tip!
VALVE the word you are looking for is valve my dude
lol! Valve! 🍻
Very good review! To the point and covered all the key points. Well done!
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully it was useful to you! Bon voyage 😁
I used the Cabeau works well, but is large to take on frequent flights. I think I’ll try the trtl one as it looks like it can be packed rather flat.
You’re right. In terms of smallest when packed, besides the inflatable ones, the TRTL is the smallest.
Unfortunately, there are no good neck pillows at the moment. More tests would be nice :)
After actually travelling with the ‘winner’ I’ve come to the temporary conclusion that perhaps some of us were never meant to sleep comfortably on a plane. 😢
I'm considering buying that YICOE one. Did you try turning it the other way around, so the strap is in the back?
Interesting! No, I didn’t try that. .. but the more I think about it the more I wish I had. I have a feeling it wouldn’t have fit that way though. But that’s just a guess.
6:09 yeah I hate the velcro. For this price point it should absolutely be magnets.
I didn’t even think of magnets… the Velcro is not that bad though…
LMAO xDD
4:12 lol
😋
Saved me a lot of time, thanks!
I glad it helped!
9:53 supposed to turn it around

Thank you! This was a really thorough review
You’re welcome! I hope it helped.
Ostrich pillow looks the best
It’s probably the most premium feeling product. But it was a bit too soft for me. But if you like soft better than firm, might be perfect.
Thank you very much for your honest reviews!
Thank you! I hope it helped you in some way. ❤️

Awesome!
The cabeau works only if you attach it to the seat but it works! Im tall so I don’t know how it would work if you’re shorter.
Good to know!
I can only test for short people. 🥲😅
@@neverendingweekend 😁
I left it on the plane after the first flight. Awful and uncomfortable 😕
Yeah. It’s interesting how we’re all built different and some that work for us are completely useless for others. ☺️

To be honest, I wish you had only reviewed one Chinese brand. Everyone knows the Chinese brands are all trash.
You never know! Trash doesn’t necessarily equate ineffective. (… usually it does tho 😄)
