@@knighttk8959 didnt 1.16 come out like... a week ago?? hows dream meant to pull off something NOBODY has much experience with with little to no effort? most speedrunners use earlier versions of the game because thats what theyre used to. its not like mojang can pull out some big update and expect people to be amazing at it as soon as it comes out. they have to wait weeks, maybe months for them to learn everything about it.

Plus in minecraft championship it’s a team game, you get more points at the end of the game depending on how well your team did. Dream said he would do a hunter vs speed runner video with techno, never did. Plus since techno won the potato war, he actually has time to practice for minecraft championship and play 1.15 legit for once, instead from a competition, whereas dream speed runs on 1.15

He doesn’t need to be THAT great at pvp. If you watched his manhunt videos, you’d see that he makes very smart plays under pressure. He retaliates well and wins most of the time when he’s fighting

And your wrong! Dream has only been in 2 Minecraft tournaments minecraft Monday, were technoblade destroyed dream at, and Minecraft championships. And hes only been in it once, and technoblades poor performance was probably to do with farming potatoes 16hours a day, and no preparation.

Dream is the best upbringing the universe.
Dream’s more of a strategist, and not much of a combat person. But lately, he’s been exposed to a lot of pvp which is great! His pvp training arc begins.
So that means Techno and Dream are going on a training arc,can't wait for the next tournament. Techno Training because he wasn't exposed to much PvP for the last 9 months and Dream Training because he wants to get better at PvP.

The reason is that in the manhunt videos, he only pvps when he knows he has too. He would rather trap, ambush, and run rather than go into a fight because he has an objective. That's what makes him so fun to watch and not just UA-camrs playing duels.
