Yeah, but without the bailouts which were paid back because of the people, we would not be out of the woods like we were the final 15 months or so of is administration.
And it started under Bush by a few months. Sadly, a lot of Republicans did blame Obama. Without the bailouts, we might have been in a Great Depression again though.
"The recovery needed more help and that Republicans in Congress did not seem focused on growing the economy and building the middle class." ^Didn't listen to the whole speech, but that's essentially correct. Anyone who thinks otherwise is disinformed.
I definitely remember many people I knew had to change doctors and many middle class Americans' premiums went way up, so what he is saying is just not true.
People are forced to change doctors any time their employer changes health insurance plans. Not ObamaCare's fault if their employers dropped their coverage, forcing them to buy insurance on the open marketplace. Also no ObamaCare's fault if doctors decide they no longer want to do business with an insurance company.

It's Obama's choice whether the government shuts down or not. If he insists that he gets all or none then the government may indeed shut down but that's on him.

It was never Obama's idea not to fund the budget that Congress passed. That was the Republicans in Congress's stupid idea. You said you would pay for it, but you wouldn't raise taxes on the top 1% to pay for it, so now you want to make it about Obama Care which was helping the economy, despite the fact that our budget deficits were falling.
@@zmw4723 you do know that you could raise taxes to 100% on the top 1%, even to the top 10% and it wouldn't have even scratched the surface on our deficit spending even going back to Clinton. And no Obamacare didn't help the economy. Obamacare was part of the reason the economy continued to lag under Obama as he became the first POTUS to never manage a single quarter of at least a 2% gdp growth.

The economic prosperity of today is a result of the "resilience and grit of the American people."

How soon we tend to forget? I'll leave it at that.
Now the republicans forget this "brilliant" part of her heritage

It's crazy abd sad how bad every 2 term.presidebts age, Obama and Bush look like going to faint by last year
Companies will continue to be reluctant to hire new works (especially full time) as long as Obama's heavy handed policies continue to be in place.
