If I were asked to describe Bentley Absolute in one word I’d say: SMOOTH!!! Man is this juice just smooth. It smells luxurious and positively masculine. I love the scent, but i find it difficult to wear often. The notes of incense and freshly chopped wood remind me too much of the traditions and holidays of North American winter. And, to wear this fragrance in any other season but the winter, to me, seems plain WRONG. The opening on BA is divine! Hands down the best opening of any cologne that I own. That blast of fresh pencil shavings and smoky and spicy incense...it just...I don’t...aaaarrrrrggggg it does something to me!!! I don’t usually care about the openings of fragrances (because they're so fleeting), but I absolutely adore this one, and wish there was no scent development with BA, just that opening. Don't get me wrong, I like the dry down too, but I like the opening more. When this juice does dry down it’s dark and sultry and smooth. This is the smell of an Arabian prince, I think. I’m pretty sure one of the Magi who went to visit Jesus at his birth was wearing Bentley Absolute! 😂 This stuff feels less like a cologne, and more like an extremely rare and expensive anointing oil.

Hi Joy, I have a 100ml bottle of bentley absolute dubai version. I get a beast mode performance 2 to 3 sprays max does the job. Lasts around 12+ hours on the skin and 2days on the clothes. No compliments so far. But i really love it.

Great video. I love Bentley Absolute, and get excellent performance out of it. Maybe your cold affected your ability to smell parts of it? I will definitely be looking forward to your full review, and this one is probably better for cooler weather.
I am 45 years old and I thank you Sir for introducing me to Bentley for Men Intense! I am in love with this scent. I find it to be warm and somehow creamy. It’s complex but smooth, that’s it, very smooth and boozy! A nice mellow rum and vanilla. My daughters who are 11 and 9 love the scent on me. My wife says it’s warm and manly on me. For a mature, successful, very confident alpha male type of man. Not for kids. Younger men in their 20’s with an “old soul” mature personality rocking business like suits can use this. I am grateful for your review of this fragrance. I will keep my Bentley for Men Intense.
Just got my bottle today. It does have a woody smell but it clearly have an incense smell similar to what I would smell in the candle burning area section of many catholic churches I attended. That area where you pay a few bucks to light a candle and make a wish.

Absolute in parfums means that the original scent is amplified without being blended with lot of ingrédients, it has nothing to do with the projection.
Yeah, right, like any perfumer buying ingredients sees the word "absolute" on an ingredient bottle and thinks: "Great, I'll get that one. It won't be too strong." I do know what you mean, but Bentley probably have not called this Absolute to suggest that it's simple or pure or whatever. It's not. Anyway I think Joy was suggesting that calling this Absolute suggested it might be intense or, ahem, À l'Extrème. That's reasonable.
Can't find anyone to compare Bentley against Le Labo Santal 33 (when 1st can out "hamster cage"). Note: never smelled Bentley nor Santal 33. I have Gucci ph i and hate it in the winter (peppered vanilla) just like I hate TF Oud Wood in the winter. Spices dry my cold nose, out. Anyways, what's different between Santal 33 and Bentley? Are they both cedar shavings pencil/hamster with pickle/incense difference to novice noses?
I got better performance from bentley intense which was surprising) I own Comme Des Garcon 2 man and Gucci Pour Homme , all of them are great but I think that from all Gucci Pour Homme clones Montale Greyland is best)
I tried to fill my travel bottle with this and that atomizer took 3x much more time than any other perfume i have. So the 6-8sprays you recommend equals 3-4 sprays from another bottle
EN original is woody. I love it. Can't stand À l'Extrème, because I don't like the elemi and if you don't like the resin in a resin bomb, you're screwed.
Smells cheap in my opinion. Dior fahrenheit goes way better in any situation this one might fit.. Loved the soprano's description though.. really fits the fragrance.

Maybe you can try Lalique Encre Noir al' Extreme.

The character of Bentley Absolute is mush deeper and denser than Bentley for men; that's why it carries the Absolute name; it's not about projection.

It has been confirmed by the perfumer himself that Bentley Absolute is the exact same formula as Gucci pour Homme (the original).

This is more wood. Get a log of wood, put it on fire than put the fire out. Burnt wood is what this smells like.
