Praise GOD for this Awesome teaching. I Love your exposition of scripture. Your style of teaching is how I teach also and learn best. More Teachers should follow. Thanks for such a beautifully taught lesson. Be Blessed
Blessings Dr Jones you always take the text and make it plain for all to understand. In verse 2 of 1st Peter where it reminds us we should desire the sincere milk of the word. It reminded me of senior citizen I saw in front of the Buddhist she was bowing, up and down standing outside of the gate. Reason? Well it was in beginning of the pandemic and all churches and temples were closed by orders of the Government. A few hours later I went to the store and there she was still bowing up and down. Why? I believe she wanted to get into the temple. I had to ask myself a question. Makes me wonder if the Saints today have that type of passion and desire to worship even if they could not get into the building. Blessings to you as always. My vote is for the white writing looks good sir sir
Minister Jones, my name is Deacon Curtis Gayden from Seattle, Washington. My questions are as follows: Can you verify that Peter was saying that the Jews were the chosen generation a royal priesthood, an holy nation? Are we talking about the children of Israel that was slaves in Egypt? These slaves were ancient Hebrews not Jews. From my studies and readings, exodus was referring to the Hebrew people not Jews. The Jews migrated from Europe to Africa. There were no Jews in Egypt or the Holy land during Moses and Joshua, areas. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks Curtis
I believe what Minister Jones said was based on a he lessons text that's before us. Peter said to the recipients of his letter, "Before you weren't a people." The gentle. were look at by the Jews as not a people. However, since the Jews denied aJesus Christ as Savior, Jesus became a "Stumbling Block to them". Consequently, we that were he Gentiles were now given the Opportunity of receiving Salvation through Jesus Christ. Please correct me if I am wrong. This is just what I got.
