- Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York sat down with Emmy-winning interviewer Ernie Manouse in early 2010 for a very candid conversation that touches on both her public and her private life, and examines her newly-embraced role as a producer on the film "The Young Victoria." She's really quite a lovely woman. We all make mistakes in our lives, and hers happen to be published. But look at this interview. She's positive and she's making the most of her life as only she knows how. I really do admire her. I hope she sees this and she realizes that people care about her.
The Duchess of York is and always have been a normal human being. She's living her life and helping others. Why do people still feel they have to be negative towards her. To all you moaners I say this, "Put yourselves in her shoes, live her life and see if you can cope."
She is down to earth and honest and has two lovely daughters and a good relationship with Prince Andrew. She is only human, no one is perfect.

People are interested in Sarah and how she lived her life in the palace and how she lives now. Why? She is a character in a surviving royal history. She is alive to tell the tale. She doesn't hold back and we need to know.
Ferguson seems nice and she speaks honestly.

I watched the video of her negotiating the money when she was selling time with Andrew and I don't know how she can face anyone. Funny Edwards's wife Sofie had no problems with the press because she is not a hound for fame. This woman has no shame

This is a very refreshing documentary after watching the first two parts of the OWN serial documentary Finding Sarah. I've enjoyed that so far, but I especially look forward now to the rest of that series having watched this and seeing that Fergie does, indeed, find herself! It's very inspiring. Obviously, I really haven't followed the British royals closely in my life...
I feel sorry for her. It's like a collective hate aimed at her. So many others ave done so much worse and not continually reminded. Get over it and let her move on. I admire her resilience and persistence. Never listen to the haters and rock on!

Pacer but she should’ve knew what she was getting into she knew he was a Naval Officer and a working Royal with duties that would keep him busy and just because someone only see’s their husband 40 days out of a year doesn’t negate their duty to obey the marriage vows they made before God and family... if the person can’t handle standing on their own when they need to than that’s not healthy it’s ok to love someone and want to be with them but one must be strong enough to do their own thing when they must!

the expression of our mind & brain.
The kids have great examples for parents.

I read in Tina Evan's book, The Diana Chronicles, that Diana was offered the title of Duchess of Cornwall if she would give up Princess of Wales but she turned it down. The title Princess of Wales is more substantial. And by legal right Diana could still use it.

Wonder if Sarah would consider producing a film about her Ancestor Lord Monmouth and his wife Anne Scott, 1st duchess of Buccleuch? Anne Scott was born during the year of The Rabbit as Queen Victoria was and they both had nine children. Anne was just 12 when she married 14 year old James Crofts.
She’s a likable person but let’s be honest, no matter what age she is, then or now, she was not cut out for the Royal life and its responsibilities.

She said it was ok for Andrew to be in the navy when she gave that engagement interview. What did she think was going to happen? Surely he could have told her how long he would be away. I think she got caught up in Diana's bs and she was easier to get rid of than Diana was.

Sarah Ferguson is a lot of things, good, bad and indifferent. But mainly she constantly trades on her
‘Royal’ status and connections and seems to be extremely money minded. I see her and I just don’t
quite buy her, never have. There are deep flaws and try as she may ( with the help of a host of staff &
some clever brains ) for me, she doesn’t pull it off. She likes the high life too much, the limelight too
much and will always go where the dosh is.

i never liked her. I watched few episodes of Finding Sarah and found myself changing my mind. Is she blamesless for what happended to her? Heck no but she is more human and down to earth then I ever expected. Being a member of the royal family has to be extremely difficult for anyone.
The only reason the queens marriage is so successful is because back in her days affairs/divorce was a 'No!' And now she's hit menopause. For her it's duty that comes before EVERYTHING even if it means playing 'happy'

Camilla is legally entitled to hold all the titles of her now husband Charles. But because there was a public outcry at her part in the breakup of the marriage between Charles and Diana it was decided that Camilla should be known as Duchess of Cornwall. It's really a public relations nightmare since Diana could have chosen to either go back to her own style of "Lady' (as the daughter of an earl she was styled The Lady Diana Spencer)
I was very disappointed in the movie 'Young Victoria" - the moment it showed Prince Albert being shot - it lost all right to claim it was historically accurate.
