JT has announced a ban on assault knives. All houses with pointed knives are too blame, all of you. Shame on you. You will be offered a few pennies for your knives under threat of prosecution and incarceration if you do not hand them over in an upcoming forced buyback.
Mental problems don't just suddenly appear, the outward signs are there for years. Simple things like "agreeableness" and "disagreeableness" to any kind of instructions or behaviour requirements. And I can bet there have been incidents of this category in the past with this individual. This time it had escalated to anger and violent "disagreement". But that (the individual's mental and internal condition) will never be addressed, it will be a security and metal detectors solution. Not early detection of mental illness, psychopathy, anti-social or criminal tendencies etc. The school is just the early societal microcosm, deal with the problem then or deal with it later.

Yeah well. I can't infer too much into what it's like in 2023, but when I spent two years in Halifax's South end, I noticed something really evident. Going towards North and Agricola was a BAD idea after dark, and pretty depressing before that. The projects were also not so great as well as Cowie hill and Dartmouth, which was like a poorer Halifax without the big buildings. It was a party town with lots of manual labor and low paying telecom jobs. So NOT really safe and happy. Plus it was already as expensive as Montreal in 1994-95 when I stayed there. I'm not hating, I ended up really liking it there, but it had a very bad side that just wasn't for me. I miss K.O.D., the Liquor Dome (still there?) and the waterfront. But I don't miss all of the YOUNG homeless, the closing hospitals, or all of the bar fights and crazy bouncers, and I REALLY don't miss the rental prices. Anyways. ONE kid doesn't make a city bad.

tf is wrong with Canada. why are we having american troubles
because of the government that has been elected
Wasn’t enough victims or bullets for it to be American.
I know right, it's not like we share a border with them 🥴
The exact reason America is having problems....a degenerate society with no values
It's not like we've given a lifetime of mental issues to teens with social isolation. Nooooooo, that can't possibly be it.
Ban assault knives
Need more knife control. Ban knifes. We need a knife buy back program now.
This confirms it. We need to ban all hunting rifles
non sequitur
I suppose there will be a ban on cutlery now. Perhaps they won't ban sporks.
Spork supremacy has always been real anyway
But only the cutlery belonging to farmers and hunters on the prairies.
Classic nihilism.
