The way Jameis is unintentionally funny and how it bounces off Theo's comedy, made this a perfect episode.
“Comfort can be your coffin” That is so deep.
Six feet
I think Jameis was talking a little bit more deeper than Theo and his sitting down with a Powerade.
@@brentmiller2256 8 feet then?
@@brentmiller2256 what does Powerade have to do with anything? 😂
"Idle time can kill your grind !" .. another one thats always stuck with me
Jameis: I had a pitbull, his name was Baghdad.
Theo: Damn, was he a service dog?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣
I was legit drinking water and had to stop the video so I can laugh without spilling water out my mouth
I mean he was right Jameis admitted it lol
Thank you for the discussion about the Oak Tree. 🌴
A was howling at that ahahaha
Bro Theo's guests are absolutely insane. The range of them alone, gat damn. This is the best podcast on the internet GANG GANG

@JTAronesty give us your idea of a great podcast and we will all shhht on that 1...let me take a wild guess, its football related ?
I love how two southern grown people just instantly connect because they had the Exact same growing up path.
It’s literally just two guys talking 😂
Two Southern gentlemen.

@@scgtyurit’s really not I’ve been to the north and y’all don’t hit it off like us
I thought the opposite, I thought it was cool how he started off calm and timid but started getting traction after Theo warmed him up a bit.
Jamies Winston: “We give other people better advice than we give ourselves “ thats too real.
So true
Definitely man, thats real
Jameis Winston is gonna be a preacher one day.
Rev
Come on!
I’d go to that church
And a good one at that
All you can eat crab leg buffet after the service
Came for a funny podcast and somehow got the exact sermon I needed. Thank you father Jameis
Theo narrating Natural Geographic would be the next best thing
Based yea see him doing the migration of the bulls in Africa and then the crocodiles eating them
Your saying jameis is a caveman?
Theo Von and Casual Geographic collaboration please!!! Would be fkn KLLR!!! Ohh man!

@@MartiniGTGP thanks. Meant to say he gets it. Edit complete.
As a Browns fan, I love that we picked this dude up. He brings that energy! and little bit of that tism too
As a saints fan I can honestly say you guys are so lucky for picking up jameis. He will be missed in New Orleans
He's a good man with character and integrity. Any team would be lucky to have him. I root for Jameis no matter what team he's on.
Same dude. He’s gonna bring so much maturity and faith to our locker room that we have lacked for such a long time.
Enjoy that pick six energy

"Pressure is for the unprepared " whoaaaaaaa Jamison changing my life on a Tuesday.
Profound isn’t it. Wisdom.
This is the ONE thing that made me FEEL Easter. Beautiful. Theo needs a prerecorded 3-5 minutes of Jameis’s wisdom sent to him EVERY. DAMN. MORNIN. Word! Gang baby ❤
❤❤❤
As do I. I've already saved some of his quotes and wisdom in my notes on my phone throughout this interview. An amazing conversation between two insightful people. This podcast has saved my life at times. Thanks for this Theo and Jameis.
Gang gang
I'm an old grandma lady who loves college football. Jameis is an amazing young man. Very inspirational. Thanks Theo for having him on!
Jameis is worth a contract for his mindset alone. What a guy to have in a locker room.
Cornerbacks’ favorite
Jame is is? Jam-is?
I agree after hearing this. He has grown up! I hope he gets the starting job at some point. I think we will find out if he has what he had at the college level. I'm rooting for him! Go Steelers
@@hoseerrr😂
So excited to have him
I will miss Jameis man. Sad it didn’t workout for him here but I can guarantee that he impacted the locker room for the better and will leave a lasting effect. Best of luck to you in Cleveland brother
When Winston said you gotta bring yourself up, I definitely felt that. Nobody ain’t gonna bring yourself up but you.
A wise man once told me that Christians are like embers in the fireplace. Strong together, but remove one from the fire and it grows cold, the flame goes out, but move it back towards the fire and it can light right back up. It was awesome seeing Mr. Winston light that flame back up in Theo, and he’s right. Your faith in Jesus has to be your foundation. Gang gang.
❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely !
Amen

Sounds like Christians are like formula 1 tires.
The acorn analogy was 🔥🔥🔥🔥Jameis truly is a national treasure
Did you know that an acorn grows into an Oak tree? That was funny, but also a good analogy. I bet he heard that in church.
@@NickDoobs100% I've heard more than a few young guys use the acorn analogy for their first sermon or lesson. 😅
@@NickDoobs It's literally just another rendition of an analogy that Jesus used in the books of Mathews, Luke, and Mark.
Life lone gator fan and browns fan. From Birmingham Al, same age as jameis. Dude was legend in the ham in high school, everyone knew he was that guy. He appearances on podcast last couple years have shown me how solid and likeable of a dude he is. Shout out big dog!!
How did you become a browns fan
I am SO thankful that I heard this today…this is my third time…a seed has to BREAK before it can grow…man that touched my heart
I was caring for the plants I’ve raised since seed when they were talking about that. Was a cool moment.
Completely changed how I view Jameis. I’ll root for him forever

Winston : I’ve done seen people with no shoes happier than most!
Theo : Yea, at the beach . 😐
Winston : No bro ! 😆
His analogy of faith & hardship was so inspiring. You really do have to break down & be rebuilt by the grace of God. I love this podcast, never heard of this man before but I'm glad Theo chatted with him
Same for me! Loving it.
I didn't realize i needed Jameis in my life, damn what a great perspective and insight on life and self.
Didn’t realize Jameis was such a cool guy, positive and deep thinker. He’s presented as a goofball in the media
These are my two brain cells talking to each other right before I try and go to sleep
Lmao
Where? You must really call Theo a brain cell? Theo bruz, this is it. No more mister nice gay!
No it isn't.
Same joke every video

Jameis talking about confidence was seriously what I needed to hear last night. I had a bad day yesterday and listened last night and he inspired me and just put me in a way better mindset and had a great day at work today. Thanks for this man
I wasn't familiar with this guy before this interview but he is very inspirational. Love the part when he discusses how we talk to ourselves and being intentional.
Jaboo is so right about the seed analogy. No belief is stronger than one that’s been broken and repaired
Theo has taken the number 1 spot in the podcast world. Every episode is gold
Jameis really showing his leadership, what a great word from him!
"i got some wareltmelon juice right here actually"
Theo: "alright 🙅"
Underrated
The rat sensed a trap
these two dudes just put out the most thoughtful and introspective pod I've heard in a minute. make Jameis a regular guest ❤🎉
Did not expect you to interview Jameis Winston. Awesome episode.
Shoutout jameis for getting his first starting win since this podcast yesterday
I just know this one gonna be an instant classic. Jameis is the Theo of QBs and Theo is the jameis of comedians.
Theo is not the Jameis of comedy 😂😂 dude sucks at football , theos a goat already
@@setty7071Wrong and dumb

Theo was fighting demons on how to respond to the watermelon juice 😂
How you think he did?¿? 🍉🍉🍉
Full agree lol.
He was respectful.
& tbh…them stereotypes are tired at this point.
White people love watermelon too.
@@J.A.M.-xg7cyNo they arent...they're funny cause it's truth and water melon is delicious
Everybody likes watermelon equally, it’s not particular to black folk~ yes, because it’s delicious/healthy.
It’s outdated reconstruction era framing…used to mock & degrade. It’s tired.
If you go in for stereotypes, fine. At least have them current.
As I diehard, lifelong, FSU fan & Jameis fan as well, this episode is much appreciated ! Jameis so underrated in every aspect possible ! gang gang brotha
Dude when I hopped on Theos channel I was NOT expecting this. I think this is genuinely the most excited I’ve been for one of his interviews. I’ve been a Jameis fan since FSU, saw him play when they beat Duke in the ACC championship in Charlotte the year they won the national championship and have followed him ever since. I cannot wait to listen to this in its entirety when I get off work.
"you was out there living on noah's ark' 🤣
I love when Theo's guest is black he starts saying "you was" 😂
@@H-Voxand ‘brotha’ lol
Jameis Winston is a great man. I hope he continues to preach in the future.
I have an all new respect for Jameis. All these silly moments NFL films shows doesn't do him justice. So much wisdom and knowledge. I wish the best for him truly.
This man is such a beautiful human being. He is wise beyond his years and his warmth and authenticity really comes through. 😊❤
Jameis is a remarkably positive dude. Good interview.
Why is his smile so dang infectious, he seems awesome to hang out with.
Theo's hair is gettin wild😅
Looks like one of those bear hats or somethin
Definitely looks like a wig that’s trying to look like another wig that’s on top of a third wig.
That cracked me up 😅 @@ClipsCrazy__
Going full lesbian
Theo is super vane. He spends way too much time on his looks. I'm sure he will be one of those that are constantly getting work done.
I could listen to Jameis making analogies all day. That acorn into a sprouting oak tree speech was inspirational.
Theo is becoming a master at this. He mixes comedy and well thought questions perfectly. He is so genuine with his interest in the guest too. Best podcast out there.
That "light bugs" hit hard remembering going to Mississippi with my dad to visit my Grandma. Both of them passed early in my 20s. I haven't seen light bugs since. I'm sure if I did. It'd bring back memories like when they were discussing. Time was slower back then and more real.
Jameis is so in tune with his own ability to influence his personal outcomes, absolutely inspirational
Theo is the absolute best at booking different types of guests. Jameis seems like such a cool down to earth dude. I never saw this combo coming
I could listen to these two talk all day. Such positivity and inspiration coming from both of them.
"Acorns grow oak trees, did you know that?" Idk why that was so funny to me😂
Jameis Winston, That's one hell of a dude right there. Much respect and admiration! Thanks for another great guest Theo 🙏
Jeez, what a sweetheart of a man. Truly inspirational
This is my go-to episode when I need to be reminded that people aren't always shit
Jameis Winston's get rooted in your faith chat was next level great and super based. He combined the parable of the sower and the parable of the mustard seed quite elegantly.
Jameis was dropping heat! Talking about enduring suffering to glorify God! James 1:2-4
I almost didn’t watch this episode because I didn’t know who this guy was but after exhausting every other new episode out I came back to this. Oh my god. I love Jameis. What a light what a positive force. I could tell from the moment the conversation got going something about him was so calm, and familiar. It’s because of his faith, Ofcourse! I loved hearing all the wisdom he had to share. He is 100% correct that you focus on yourself, show up grateful, give it your all and most importantly speak kind words to yourself. This is the way out of suffering. Praise god🙏
Theo this is beautiful! Thank you for going to the difficult places in this conversation. And you did it with grace, respect and love. I really enjoy seeing you continue to grow.
It is unbelievably important for young men to have a father in the household.
Jameis in his 50’s is goin to be the funniest preacher around
Or NFL commentator! He’d be great calling games.
Who knew i would get an encouraging sermon through a Theo/Jameis podcast. The song Theo mentioned had me in tears and reminded me of my Momma praying for us when i was a child.
That clip of Jameis dancing with crutches in the locker room is an all timer.
The only NFL game ive ever been to. He tears his ACL in the 2nd quarter, trevor Simeon puts em up 2 scores, brady throws a pick with 1 minute left, and jameis is in the locker room WILDIN with the boys😂
This is genuinely one of the best podcast I’ve listened to so much positivity
Just became a Big J Winston fan. What a banger from my man Theo!!! Keep ‘em coming…Gang Gang!!!
If I would have heard this podcast when Jamis was a senior in college. It would have made his Fanbase 100 times what it was at his peak. Very inspiring. That is what our younger guys generation needs to watch. Everyone loves a hero and a success story. AMEN
The acorn metaphor was fire haha

“Standing on a corner Jameis Winston down in Nola…” Shoutout all AWLs
Incredible interview. Jameis is a humble man and the perfect example of chasing your dreams and succeeding. He took what he wanted without taking advantage of anyone and growing as a person along the way.
Best therapist Theo has had on yet.
This might be Theo's best interview, I've watched it back to back and it was still Great. Love Jameis and hope he is the starter with the Browns
I get a little bummed out when theo’s podcasts are less than 2 hours. Gang Gang baby

That’s crazy I have not seen any light bugs for a long time
Bruh I watched this like there’s gonna be so many unintentionally funny moments I get to laugh at Jameis but this man was spitting bars 😂
I’ve come to learn that most of our “that’s crazy”’s when we have no response or maybe we stopped paying attention for a second -

No wayyyy bro I love Jameis Winston man. Dude seems like a funny ass good spirit. Great episode
This video is an absolute golden nugget of positive sports psychology, resilience training, and successful life strategy. For FREE. All you have to do is listen. I had to get out my notebook so I could turn around and preach this to my sons. I’m extremely interested to see what Jameis has to say in 10 years.

nice to see Theo reconnecting with his high school basketball teammate
😂😂😂Excellent “inside joke”. I think you may be right. Sorry can’t stop laughing over that. I can see that pic as clear as day in my head
It's great to hear Jameis in a long form conversation. He sounds like a mature man. The mentality of a vet but young enough still to lead a franchise for many years if he gets an opportunity to prove himself.
“Somebody that became an electrician probably” 😂
Damn Winston is deep. Has a great view on life and I’m a real big fan now. Wish him the best such a positive attitude.
Theo and Jameis the Country Cousins
They are the boys talking about the buck. LOL
This turned out to be a great pod! He was feelin it out in the beginning and then opened up. What a great man.
Once again Theo shows us a side of someone we don’t get to see. Great interview, brother.
Theo can sit down with anyone and he will connect with them on a deep level. These are two genuinely wholesome dudes and I’m from Alabama and Bessemer is the most dangerous city in the state! But the kind of guy that Jameis is, it’s almost like he only sees the good in life. I’m upstairs!!!!
