    We are using Cinemachine in our Project since 3 Months and it really boosted our quality and production times. Keep up the good work.

      Question in that case, I've been trying to get it to work, but the record button doesn't work for creating animations in the manager. Any ideas?

    Just sent an email to Adam. This single tool has improved our games visually bringing our cameras up to par with some AAA titles. Thank you for this wonderful toolset.

    That's a whole lotta sweet cinematography, more than Michael Bay could ever dream of.
    I hope now you will concentrate more on workflow improvements, integration, ease of use and gameplay features.

      Jonney - totally agree. We are working heavy on the Cinemachine UX, expect to see some big improvements there next year.

    This guy should do some cinematography tutorials even if its just a scratch I would be terrified by the opportunity.
    Also btw nice and interesting movie the ending kinda got me. I was 100% immersed tho. I easily forgot this a unity thing and became a comforted expectator , nice @_@

    Why was everyone so quiet and uninterested? This was one of the most bonkers game talks I've ever seen. Next-gen will be about innovation of the tools, not the tech.

      I know this isn't about Unreal but you hit the nail harder on the head than I think you realized with this statement with Nanite in Unreal and all the new competitive tools coming to or have been made available over the past year.
      As far as why everyone seems quiet and uninterested? Judging by the timeline it looks like this took place just at the cusp of COVID-19 so it's likely in-person attendance was sparce.

    I wish they would resolve the issues of touch input with the freelook camera ignoring UI raycast.
    Would the mojo extractor even be needed if they added "additive tracks"?

    • @AdamMyhill
      @AdamMyhill 4 роки тому

      Mojo extractor is needed because blending raw transforms in additive tracks doesn't give you the ability to tweak framing composition or position things in a screen-space environment. That's the twist. Mojo lets you modify shots with 'through the lens' tweaks.

    "you can't manipulate mocap keyframe" huh...what do you think our animator's been doing? Yes we can reposition camera data as well this isn't new. But sure it's great now that Unity can do it.

    • @AdamMyhill
      @AdamMyhill 3 роки тому

      Yes that was said a bit too broadly, what's new here is you're working in camera screen/composition space which is not possible with traditional methods.
