First bit D7 is 1 because of I/O port, then mode is 0 ,so D6,D5 is 00, then D4,D3is 1,1 because port A and port c upper is input and other pin is 0 because of put port. Now bit is 1001,1000, which is read as= 92 H. All the best.
you are actually right. but here she meant 8x1 mux where 3 enable pins are used(2^3=8). if it was 4x1 mux, 2 enable pins are used(2^2=4). n*2^n = decoder ( general cases, which is why u got confused). 2^n*n= encoder.
please solve this problem urgently..... 2. Develop a system with 8086 using 8255 chip to toggle 8 LEDs continuously every 500 milliseconds. Draw the interfacing diagram of 8255 and LEDs to realize the system. Interface the LEDs at an address 05H. Write an assembly language program for the hardware to toggle 8 LEDs every 500 milliseconds.

U must understand the concept first and then explain to us.
😂😂😂
exactly
how you are calculating control word?
Exactly..
Yes plz tell
This is how a student should mug up the concept and spit it in the exam.
By using code word register table in 8255
Thank you👍helped me a lot
how did u get control word.....anybody can copy from book........(A K RAY-problem5.16)

What are u doing currently
3to 8 is a decoder not multiplexer
It's mux :)
Don't confuse others plz it's a multiplexer.if you are not sure don't be overconfidence
yes 2 power 3 is 8 so 2 to 8 is multiplexer
