You didn't follow the instructions on the package. The additives they tell you add to the water is what makes them easy to peel.. salt and vinegar. Then, the shaker just does what spinning them and cracking the sides does with eggs cooked in salt and vinegar.. and the peel slides right off, often in one solid sheet.
You're not shaking it like they do.
Life hack. Add salt to the boiling pot of water and boil the eggs. The shells will literally come off perfectly.
Can we test this with someone who doesn't suck, and doesn't confuse shakes for seconds? 😂

Major user error. You're suppose to shake it for the amount of time prescribed, NOT THE NUMBER OF TIMES.

mine works great! 5 eggs at one time is to many! no more that three and it's fine!
