I love your preface before covering the tour! I almost felt apart of the actual tour and will never go another place without seeking out walking/food tours-thanks, great job!
The passion Fruit I had was Tart and I couldn't get over the seeds. My friend from Trinidad said they are very good in her country. So I'll try it again during my travels. I love Dragon Fruit as well. Thanks for sharing
I responded to your comment a long time ago, but I don’t think youtube registered it. Yes, the fruit that I had just had way too many seeds. I would be interested to try fruit from Trinidad. I bet it is so delicious. and dragon fruit is my favorite for sure. Thank you for watching.
Not really. There are quite a few Afro-Ecuadorians in Quito so melanated people are uncommon to see. I think I get stared at more for being American, speaking English, and carrying a camera.

Glad you liked it! Thank you so much for your comment.
Jezzy welcome to Quito, the oldest capital of the continent. Hugs and happy stay.

Mercados are the way to go! I love yellow dragon fruit too.
Very beautiful Quito.
It really is! Thank you!
Isn’t that one with the jelly covered seeds passion fruit?
It might be or at least in the same family.
Are the fruits native to the region?
Yes from what we were told.
Do you ever get stares/stand out as melanated people in Ecuador?
Not really. There are quite a few Afro-Ecuadorians in Quito so melanated people are uncommon to see. I think I get stared at more for being American, speaking English, and carrying a camera.
