At 2:15 How did you make the cylinder extend and smooth the edge out

You can use CTRL+Right Click to extrude where your cursor is, then I selected the edge i wanted so smooth and pressed CTRL+B to Bevel (Use the mouse wheel to increase the amouth of loop)

You might want to look into learning how to use curves to create pipes, rails, and ladders. Keep up the good work though.

You can also use denoiser to get rid of noisy images

You can press E to get loopcut straight. If it's not working you can press F then E it should works
