I owned 4 IEMs in last 3 months. But the best budget IEM is Truthear Gate. It is simple IEM with great sound quality. It is the best detail retrieval with accurate bass❤
hi, I got the Meze Alba and like them a lot. But I do have a problem I got a triopowin balanced cable ad ifs zen dad v2. The 4.4 MM termination produces noise and has un even output from front and back output. I can't seem to figure out if it's a cable issue or dac issue? all are HZ products buy btw :)
Hi there. The blon bl03 I bought from you just before pandemic has died (right side). Kindly suggest a replacement around the same price point. I don't have a dac or plan to get one. I just want a solidly built daily driver that I can use with my smartphone & can fall asleep wearing (I play nature sounds to calm down). it's been three days, trying to sleep with full-size headphones is quite uncomfortable.
I just got my kz castor iem about few days ago, and I'm loving it; man, I never expected it to be this good. To be honest, this is my first iem, and it is far superior to my nothing earbuds. Fun fact: Nothing earbuds cost me almost 10k, whereas this kz costs me roughly 1,600. damn... Now I'm more curious about what it's like to own an expensive iem and what it can offer.
Meze Alba is awesome, way better than those Truthear Hexas. I'm always listening to music with my Alba.Highly recommended. it's energetic, fuller, clean and punchy bass.
Loving this new world of audiophiles and your videos. I am buying my first 'monitor' and only Final VR500 seems to be in my budget. My first preference was to get an over the ear headphone. I just care for a good music listening experience (I have no premium services or equipments) and ear health. Do you suggest going with the Final IEM or now buy an even cheaper IEM like below 1000 (I have no earphone at this moment) and save for flagship stuff?
Welcome to the audiophile world, and thanks for the kind words! Since you're just starting, you might consider getting a budget IEM to start your journey and upgrade later. This way, you can explore the sound signature you like without feeling pressured to invest heavily upfront. Keep the music playing!
@headphone_zone Really grateful for the reply. Since yesterday I have discovered much more and I have decided to buy the Tangzu Wan'er. Just one information needed, are there any upcoming sales to look forward to?
Hi, I'm planning to buy my first IEM(Under $30). But I'm finding it difficult to choose the right one. I'm looking for one which provides clear vocals and instrument seperation, with not so thumping bass and balanced treble. I usually listen to Indian melodies, pop and EDMs(rarely). Also I'm looking for something with type C and good mic. I'm confused btwn Moondrop Chu II and Tangzu Wan'er Sg
I just brought Headphone Zone X Tangzu Wan'er S.G yesterday as a support to you! It will delivered Saturday from Bangladesh. I just want to thank you for awesome knowledgeable content 💝 It's my first IEM! But, if Headphone Zone was officially distributed in Bangladesh. I hope that you start Headphone Zone in other countries too 😢
Thank you so much for your support and kind words-it means the world to us! We’re thrilled to be part of your first IEM journey, and we hope you love the Wan'er S.G as much as we do. As for expanding to other countries - who knows? Maybe someday we'll have a Headphone Zone in Bangladesh too! All in good time. 😉
You should have called out the HPZ × Oriveti OD 200. At 10K it is great value, comes with an incredible set of accessories and has customisable nozzles too!
Totally agree - the Headphone Zone × Oriveti OD200 is an absolute gem at 10K! We’re super proud of it, and the accessories + customisable nozzles are a dream combo. 😍 That said, we deliberately highlighted some other great products from the year to keep things fresh. Rest assured, our collaboration is close to our hearts. ❤️
@@headphone_zone having purchased both the OD200 and the Alba, I personally enjoy the OD200 way more. The Alba just isn't for me. Not at 10K at least. The OD200 is my most prized possession amongst all my IEMs till date!
Hey headphone zone, can you do a Collab with any company and get us a mp3 high quality music player? (Just a suggestion, you guys are doing a great job)
Hello, I received the Kiwi Ear Cadenza from you yesterday. The IEMs are good, especially for pop, instrumental, and live music. Before ordering, I called your audio experts and mentioned that my preferred music is synth and 80-90s American pop, which features synthesizer sounds. Synth music often demands good sub-bass and mid-bass to fully enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, the Cadenza lacks in the sub-bass department. I am considering returning them and getting the Simgot - EW200. Are they a good choice for synth music? I currently own the KZ ZSN Pro X, but I don’t like its default sound. I’m not a basshead, so I autotune my KZ ZSN Pro X through the Peace app, and they sound amazing for my synth music sessions. Additionally, I own the M50x and HD560s, and I don’t EQ them at all. So, should I go for the Simgot - EW200?
No, the ew200 is bright and may not be great for Synth where you may turn up the volume. Ew200 imo is good for instrumentals, but for Synth I'd recommend something like the Aful Explorer or Kiwi Ears Melody. I don't own the Letshouer s08, but I heard it's a cheaper AFUL Explorer and it PROBABLY sits in between the other two mentions.
I have Moondrop Aria 2. Is it worth to get Meze Alba? Will it be worth an upgrade? Any other upgrade recommendations from Moondrop Aria 2? My current setup is Moondrop Aria 2 with Moondrop Dawn Pro
The Meze Alba wouldn’t really be an upgrade from the Moondrop Aria 2-it’s more of a side grade in our opinion. That said, it’s always best to try it out yourself to see if it aligns with your preferences. For a true upgrade, we recommend checking out the Juzear Butterfly 61T, Dunu x Gizaudio Da Vinci, or the Dita Audio Project M. These options offer a step up in performance and refinement. Happy listening!
We wanted to highlight some of the products we truly appreciated using this year to keep things fresh and exciting! Worry not - our collaborations are super close to our hearts, and they always have their own time to shine. 😉
Good question. I think we did a great job with our collaborations - and I love them. But I also think @mezeaudio did a better job than us this year with the Alba.

Meze Alba is phenomenal! The sheer scaling capability of it makes it incomparable to any other IEM in its price range.
We love the Alba too. It is a phenomenal IEM.
i was planning on getting the kz Castor Pro, do you guys have any opinions on that?
I got truthear hexa with fiio ka 13 and a balanced cable, I’m happy af, this is so good.
I got a similar combo for myself a week ago . Hexa + hidizs Martha+ highway star 4.4 mm
That is a solid setup you got there!

Kefine Delci or InAwaken Dawn.
You can go for the Wan'er S.G.
Does meze alba support 24bit 192khz
Support yes
Can they represent that sound authentically to your ear is a different question?
Don't waste your money in this just for 24bit audio, as most of the IEMs support 24bit audio.
What about kiwi ears cadenza?
