Not going to lie TMNT...... is my jam. Love this.
I've been a fan of TMNT for as long as I can remember, gotta say the 2003 and 2012 shows are really great! ^^
When it comes to the comics I like everyone else love the IDW run, and I really enjoyed the Batman / TMNT run as well ^^
We all know that early 2000s cartoon was the shit back in the day and the IDW collections are a big recommend for beginners that collect it all in order
Also Mikey is the best turtle 🐢

The first tmnt comic ever brought and read is actually the last ronin before that all a knew about tmnt was from the animated series and movies, but i'm planning on reading the IDW collections

With my collecting digital collections of the comics and media of the TMNT things are going well especially now that Nickelodeon finally released the entire 2003 series in it's entirety for the digital version.
While there are some minor stuff that will never be available for purchase, I am going for what I can get on the TMNT. Glad IDW is producing the larger collections which makes things easier to read.

Yusaigyo jimbo used to makes cameo appearances on the og 80s/90s TMNT cartoon. I remember that episode when that bunny single handedly kicked all of the turtles asses.

I've only read Batman/TMNT. Love Freddie E. Williams II's art. Last Ronin is on my radar, the art looks good enough and the story sounds great too. The IDW collections are too many at this point for me to try to catch up so I hope they are releasing Last Ronin in a stand-alone hardcover. No idea if they usually does that. They did it with the Batman/TMNT but that was maybe because DC was involved. That Omni is a must buy for me, if it gets released :)

I love TMNT, Great video. I plan on picking up the original series at some point, would you recommend B/W or Colour personally?
I'd recommend the color, unless you're a purist, but you probably wouldn't be asking if that was the case. I just find that some details get lost in the original black and white coloring. The art is pretty detailed and the color makes a big difference in readability in my opinion. They're awesome either way though.
I was hoping you would mention the Archie comics, because I'm intrigued about them, but people never talk about them - I wonder if that is because they are bad!
Probably start with the IDW after the video.Definitely picking up the Last Ronin. Darker stories are my thing.
The 2003 series is my favourite especially where Leonardo faces the foot clan solo and getting the crap knocked out of him. Cannot forget the power ranger in space crossover either.
On a different tangent just finished watching the interview with Joakim. Really fun and some of the answers you gave kind of echoes what I think, especially to FOMO and the community aspect. I've been thinking about my collection lately and how I'm not fully happy with it currently. I only have a certain budget so going for quality over quantity.

Honestly feeling a bit mixed lately.😔. Nothing to worry about. I just have had a lot of stress on my plate. Some days are worse and some better than others but I suppose we all get them. At least I have comics for relaxation.🙂 Thanks for asking though Marcus.

I was about to tear you a new one had you not mentioned the original comics which feature both Return to New York and City at War. We were about to throw hands, but since you mentioned it in general (which the 2003 series adapted a number of episodes from) you get a pass.
